Ireland Out To 6-5 To Qualify For Euro’s – Trap 7-2 To Leave Before End Of Qualifiers

William Hill have pushed the Republic of Ireland out to 6-5 from 4-5 to qualify for Euro 2012 following their 3-2 defeat to Russia at the Aviva Stadium on Friday night.

The defeat, Ireland’s first of the Euro qualifying campaign, leaves Giovanni Trapattoni’s men on the same number of points as Russia who are now the 8-15 favourites to win Group B.

Ireland’s next match is away to Slovakia on Tuesday night. Hills make Ireland 9-5 to win the game, the Slovakians are the 5-4 favourites, and the draw is on offer 21-10

Meanwhile – Trapattoni, who had a recent health scare, is now 7-2 (from 5-1) with the bookies NOT to see out the Euro qualifying campaign.

‘Trapattoni needs to rally his troops ahead of the Slovakia game,’ said Hills Irish spokesman Tony Kenny ‘Consecutive defeats would put a serious dent in our Euro 2012 dreams – and the pressure on the ageing Italian could start to tell.’

WILLIAM HILL are offering odds of 10/3 that Kenny Dalglish will become Liverpool manager at any stage of the current Premier League season. ‘With Liverpool in the relegation zone, Roy Hodgson under pressure and sections of the crowd calling for the return of ‘King Kenny’ we have opened a book on whether Dalglish will manage the side at any point during the current season’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

HILLS NOW OFFER 5/6 THAT ROY HODGSON WILL STILL BE LIVERPOOL MANAGER ON THE FIRST DAY OF NEXT SEASON, 5/6 THAT HE WILL NOT. ‘It seems to us to be as likely that he will be boss still, as that he will not, so we’re sitting on the fence with this one!’ said Sharpe.

Moyes 11/4 To Leave Everton Before Next Season

MOYES 11/4 TO QUIT EVERTON BEFORE NEXT SEASON

FOLLOWING Everton’s embarrassing Carling Cup defeat and their terrible start to the Premier League campaign, William Hill have opened a book on whether David Moyes will still be manager at the club on the first day of next season – and offer 11/4 that he will have departed by then, and 1/4 that he will still be in charge. Hills also currently quote him as 9/2 fourth favourite to be the NEXT Premier League manager to leave his club. ‘David Moyes is a highly rated manager who may well be thinking that he has taken Everton as far as anyone could and it would be no surprise if he showed an interest in any high profile vacancy which happened to come along in the near future – but if Everton results don’t improve pretty soon the luxury of deciding on his own departure date could be taken out of his hands.’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills are also offering 7/1 that Everton fail to win any of their next five Premier League matches.
