WILLIAM HILL have opened a book on how many more Premier League managers will follow Gary Megson out of their psitions this season – and offer 6/1 that he will be the last to go. ‘With the January transfer window looming up, clubs may consider that there is little point switching managers afterwards, so if we don’t see more departures within the next few weeks that may just be it for the season. However, chairmen are also capable of coming up with different reasons for disposing of out of favour managers, so I suspect we’ll take plenty of money at 20/1 for another four or more to go – particularly as several clubs appear to have severe financial problems.’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
