Kuyt Flying And Bent Into Shape ?

KUYT FLYING FROM LIVERPOOL?

Dirk Kuyt could be one of a number of high profile casualties at Liverpool this summer, with William Hill offering 5/4 that he has left the club by the start of next season. Another who could be on his way is Maxi Rodriguez, who is Even money to have gone in the same time frame. The good news for Liverpool, however, is that Suarez, Gerrard and Reina all look like they will be staying, with Hills making them 1/4, 1/16 and 1/12 respectively to still be at Anfield. ‘Kuyt is popular at Liverpool but he could be amongst the players most likely to leave the club before the start of next season’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Share.

To be at Liverpool start of 2012/2013 season Yes No
Dirk Kuyt 4/7 5/4
Pepe Reina 1/12 6/1
Andy Carroll 1/3 9/4
Maxi Rodriguez 8/11 EVS
Steven Gerrard 1/16 7/1
Luis Suarez 1/4 11/4

BENT INTO SHAPE?

DARREN BENT is optimistic that he can regain fitness in time to be part of the Euro squad but William Hill are less confident and offer 4/1 that he will be included in the final squad. ‘With the current shortage of reliable English forwards, other than Rooney, Bent will have a great chance of being included if he can overcome his serious injury in time’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Hills – Darren Bent to be in the Euro squad? 4/1 yes; 1/7 no

LAWRIE BETTING ON LADY BOSSES

Lawrie Sanchez has claimed that he can envisage a female manager taking charge of a Premier League club within the next ten years, but Hills disagree, offering 100/1 that a female is in the Premier League within the next decade. It is 33/1 for a female manager to be in the Football League within the next 5 years. ‘Apparently Sanmchez has bet a pal that there will be a female Premier League boss within ten years – I hope he got decent odds as we’re prepared to offer 100/1about it happening!’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

WILL CARLO RETURN TO PREMIER LEAGUE?

WITH CARLO ANCELOTTI suggesting he is interested in returning to Premier/Football League managerment, William Hill make Spurs the most likely club for him to join at 7/2, and offer 20/1 that his next appointment will be a return to Chelsea. However, Hills believe he may well fail to find a suitable English club before the end of 2012, and offer 4/7 that he has yet to return to the domestic game by then.
‘Ancelotti has been one of the few foreign managers to demonstrate a genuine affinity for the country he was working in and as such is sure to be a popular contender for any high profile managerial role which becomes available in the near future’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
