ENGLAND ODDS-ON TO CZECH OUT OF EURO TOURNAMENT EARLY
ENGLAND are now 4/6 with William Hill to crash out of the U21 tournament at the Group stage following their disappointing draw against Ukraine.
Having drawn for the second time, England are now offered at 9/4 to draw, and 11/10 to win, their final group game against Czech Republic. Daniel Sturridge is the 11/2 favourite to open the scoring in the match, while Danny Welbeck, who squandered a glorious chance against the Ukraine, is 13/2.
‘England’s first two games have proved disappointing for fans and punters alike but we need them to get through to boost betting interest in the event, even though they’ll inevitably cost us a few bob if they goon to win the tournament’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
England are now out to 11/2 to win the tournament, having been as short as 9/2. Spain, having effectively qualified from their group are now 8/11 clear favourites to go on and win the tournament.

England are now 6/5 to win their final group game which would be just enough to see them into the semi final of the tournament. The Czech Republic are 9/5 to win. A GAMBLE which began in Cork has catapulted Alan Shearer into the position of second favourite to become the next Cardiff manager with bookmakers William Hill who have slashed his odds from 10/1 to 6/4.
We began to see bets for Shearer on Monday night and soon noticed that almost all of them and they were for up to 200 euros a time- were coming from the Cork area. We reduced the odds but the bets continued to come in and eventually we began to see money from other areas. WILL McCLAREN GET FOREST OUT OF THE WOODS?
WILLIAM HILL make Nottingham Forest 12/1 to win the Championship and 4/1 to be promoted following the appointment of Steve McClaren as manager. Hills also go 1/ 4 that they will finish in the top half of the table, 11/4 in the bottom half, and 20/1 that they will be relegated.
