You Bet Blatter Looks To Splatter Bernstein

Sepp Blatter looks set to be awarded another four years in charge of FIFA and William Hill are offering 4/6 that he serves the whole of his term and FIFA get a new President in 2015. FIFA are 9/4 to get a new President in 2011. One of the most contentious decisions under Blatter was the awarding of the 2022 World Cup to Qatar. Despite the fact that the temperatures usually soar into the 40s during the summer in Qatar, Hills offer 1/5 that the 2022 World Cup Final takes place between June and August of that year.

David Berstein has been particularly scathing in his appraisal of FIFA and Blatter. Hills offer 2/7 that the FIFA chief now outlasts the FA Chairman. Blatter is 5/2 to leave his job before Bernstein.

“The FIFA / FA row looks set to rumble on, but Blatter now looks to have the upper hand once more and the odds suggest he will outlast this latest controversy,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Odds:

When will FIFA get a new President: 9/4 2011; 7/1 2012; 10/1 2013; 12/1 2014; 4/6 2015

When will 2022 World Cup Final take place: 7/1 Jan – May; 1/5 June – Aug; 5/1 Sept – Dec

Who will leave their job first: 2/7 Bernstein; 5/2 Blatter

And Hills now make Ancelotti 4/7 NOT to be Chelsea boss on the first day of next season, 5/4 still to be there. ‘Ancelottoi would appear to need to turn United over at Old Trafford in the 2nd leg at the very least to retain his job’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

PUNTERS KEAN TO BACK STEVE TO BE NEXT BOSS OUT

WILLIAM HILL have slashed their odds for Steve Kean to be the next Premier League boss to leave his job this season from 7/2 to 4/5 after a run of bets for the Blackburn boss.
‘The bets have been coming in from various parts of the country and for various amounts although none of them has yet been for any substantial amount – but the history of this market is that punters are rarely wide of the mark when a serious gamble develops’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
