Warnock Favourite To Be Next Boss Out

WARNOCK FAVOURITE FOR CHOP AS QPR TAKEOVER RUMOURS MOUNT

AFTER he pulled out of a scheduled appearance on Radio 5 Live’s ‘Sportsweek’ show and rumours of a takeover at QPR mounted, their manager Neil Warnock has been made Even money favourite by William Hill to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job. ‘A first day home drubbing, takeover rumours and pulling out of a radio interview have comined to spark rumours that Neil Warnock’s position could be in jeopardy’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills make Steve Kean 9/4 second favourite to be the next boss out and also offer 5/1 Alan Pardew; 10/1 Steve Bruce and Arsene Wenger; 14/1 Mick McCarthy; Harry Redknapp; 16/1 David Moyes; 20/1 Coyle, Mancini, Martinez; McLeish. Others on request.

William Hill make Manchester United 8/11 to bounce back from FA Cup defeat by beating Newcastle in their Tuesday night Premier League fixture. The home side are 4/1, with the draw 5/2 and Hills now make Man U 6/5 chances to clock up 82 points or more this season – and 11/4 to win the title by ten or more points. ‘This match is probably the last hope their title challengers have of seeing United falter as the title winning post apoproaches’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

WENGER ON SHAKY GROUND?

William Hill are offering 11/4 that Arsene Wenger will fail to shake hands with his opposing manager in any of Arsenal’s remaining matches this season after he was involved in another end of game spat with Kenny Dalglish. ‘Mr Wenger’s managerial fan club has diminished somewhat this season after a couple of petulant end of match encounters and with the pressure increasing on him as Arsenal yet again look like failing to win a trophy, he might well yet snub another boss’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. Hills now offer 6/1 that Wenger will no longer be Arsenal manager on the first day of next season, and 1/12 that he will still be there.
MEANWHILE, Hills OFFER 25/1 ABOUT ARSENAL WINNING THEIR REMAINING SIX GAMES – 40/1 THAT THEY FAIL TO WIN ANY OF THEM

THEY THINK IT’S ALL OVER – ER, PERHAPS IT ISN’T!

WITH ALL four of the Champions League quarter finals producing positive results, William Hill have opened a book on how many of the four teams who are trailing from the first leg will be able to overturn the deficit and progress to the semis – but think it is a big odds-on shot that none will be able to, and make that option 1/3 favourite. ‘Cup competitions are famous for upset results and for those who think that there is still a chance of upsets in the 2nd legs we are letting them bet on how many turn-rounds there will be’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

TORRES FOR THE CHOP?

William Hill offer 10/3 that Torres will either have been sold or sent out on loan on the first day of next season as his run of goalless games becomes even longer. ‘He’s 11/2 not to score for the rest of the season, and even if he gets just one or two goals it is difficult to see how he can be regarded as a success unless those goals come in the Champions League final’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills make Torres 1/5 still to be at Stamford Bridge on the first day of next season.

TORRES ‘NO CHELSEA GOALS THIS SEASON’ ODDS SLASHED!

AFTER their win over Newcastle, Aston Villa are out to 12/1 from 8/1 to be relegated with William Hill who now makwe them 25/1 to finish bottom. ‘That victory has probably killed off lingering doubts about Villa’s survival, but you can’t necessarilly say the same about M Houllier’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe – they make him 6/5 to be gone by the first day of next season, 8/13 still to be in place.

Torres 5/1 Not To Score For Chelsea

Ancelotti now odds-on for chop as……
5/1 TORRES CHELSEA SEASON TO BE TOTAL BLANK

William Hill are now quoting odds of 5/1 that Torres fails to score in any Premier League or Champions League game for Chelsea this season. ‘He had one or two half chances against United but his confidence is clearly suffering the longer the blank run continues’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
And Hills now make Ancelotti 4/7 NOT to be Chelsea boss on the first day of next season, 5/4 still to be there. ‘Ancelottoi would appear to need to turn United over at Old Trafford in the 2nd leg at the very least to retain his job’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

PUNTERS KEAN ON STEVE AS ROVERS FACE RELEGATION SCRAP

Blackburn boss Steve Kean has been backed down from 50/1 a week ago to 9/4 favourite to be the next Premier League manager this season to lose his job. ‘Blackburn’s rapid tumble into relegation contention have not helped his odds, nor have rumours that the club’s new owners who appointed Kean have been having second thoughts about the wisdowm of that decision’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.’And punters have been backing him to the exclusion of previously fancied contenders in the past couple of days.’
Meanwhile, previous market leader Avram Grant – favourite on seven different occasions this season to be the next boss out, has been guiding West Ham out of the bottom three and his odds have lengthened to 4/1 to be the next boss to go.
Hills also believe there is a decent chance that no more managers will be dismissed or resign this season and offer 5/4 about that eventuality.

William Hill…Next Prem boss to leave his club this season…..5/4 No more to depart; 9/4 Steve Kean; 7/2 Roberto Martinez; 4/1 Avram Grant; 7/1 Carlo Ancelotti; David Moyes; 16/1 Alex McLeish; 20/1 Ian Holloway. Others on request.

Fa Cup Flop Sees Moyes Cut For Chop

Everton’s defeat against Reading has left the Toffees with nothing to play for this season and has prompted a significant gamble on David Moyes to be the next manager to leave their club. He has been cut from 7/1 to 9/2 with William Hill.

“Moyes is very restricted at Everton and with nothing left to play for, he could well walk before he is pushed,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Chelsea secured a vital home win against Manchester United on Tuesday and eased the pressure on their manager, Carlo Ancelotti. He is priced at 9/2 (out from 7/2 before Utd game) with William Hill to be the next Premier League manager to leave their position. Should Ancelotti go, Hills are offering 15/8 that Guus Hiddink replaces him as the next permanent Chelsea manager while Didier Deschamps is 7/1. Frank Rijkaard and Jose Mourinho are both 8/1.

Their big money signing, Fernando Torres failed to score again, however and Hills are offering 10/1 that he fails to score in any of the next five games, although he is 4/7 to bag a goal against Blackpool on the 5th March. Chelsea are also in from 20/1 to 14/1 to win the Premier League although Manchester United are 8/13 favourites.

“Chelsea have often flattered to deceive this season, often recording a good win before falling back into poor form, but the win against United is the kind of result that could save their season and perhaps even Ancelotti’s job,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Premier League Odds:

Outright: 8/13 Manchester United; 13/8 Arsenal; 14/1 Chelsea; 40/1 Manchester City; 100/1 Tottenham
