Profile Managers

With the Championship season set to kick off this weekend, Hills are offering a brand new market on the Manager Sack Race. The Championship is home to a number of high profile managers this year and the market is expected to be incredibly competitive with Coventry manager, Andy Thorn, the 6/1 favourite to be the first manager to leave his club. Keith Millen and Sean Dyche round off the top three at 7/1. With two former England managers plying their trade in the division, Hills offer 14/1 that Steve McLaren is the first manager to go, while Sven Goran Eriksson is 16/1 although Sven is 8/11 to be out of a job before the Wally with the Brolly.

“This year’s Championship is expected to be one of the closest ever with a number of high profile managers in charge of high profile clubs. Not all of them will be able to live up to expectations and the managers’ sack race could potentially be quite a volatile market,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
