Hills think that Liverpool are such favourites that they have already started taking bets on how many goals Liverpool score on the day and make one the 15/8 favourite although they are 5/2 to score three or more on the day while Cardiff are 4/6 to score no goals.

Whoever won between Liverpool and Manchester City were always going to be favourites to lift the Cup and we think the cup engraver may as well start practicing writing Liverpool now, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.

Andy Carroll found himself on the bench against City tonight and William Hill make him 5/6 to fail to start against Manchester United at the weekend.
