Ac Milan Fans 6/1 To Be Carroll Singing Next Season

Andy Carroll’s name has rather surprisingly been linked with a loan move to AC Milan although William Hill do not think that particular move is on the cards, offering 1/12 that he does not make the move to the San Siro (to AC Milan). It does look likely that Carroll could make a move away from Anfield, whether on loan or permanently, with Hills offering 4/1 that he is not at Liverpool when the transfer window slams shut.

“Aquilani spent last season at AC Milan and despite the relations that may or may not have been built between the clubs because of that particular deal, we do not think a move for Andy Carroll is very likely,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Rumours suggesting that Roberto Mancini could be on his way from Manchester City may not be too wide of the mark, with William Hill making the Italian 11/2 to have left Eastlands by the time the season starts and Hills can also report that Mancini has been backed in from 33/1 to 4/1 favourite to be the first Premier League manager to leave his position.

Andy Carroll to be at AC Milan at end of transfer window: 6/1 yes; 1/12 no

Andy Carroll to have left Liverpool by the end of the transfer window: 4/1 yes; 1/7 no
*loan deals count

Roberto Mancini to be at Manchester City on the first day on 2012/13 season: 11/2 no; 1/10 yes

First Premier League manager to leave his job: 4/1 Roberto Mancini; 8/1 Sam Allardyce; 9/1 Chris Hughton; 9/1 Michael Laudrup; 9/1 Steve Clarke; 11/1 Brendan Rodgers; 11/1 Mark Hughes; 11/1 Nigel Adkins; 11/1 Roberto Di Matteo; 11/1 Roberto Martinez; 12/1 Martin Jol; 14/1 Paul Lambert; 16/1 Brian McDermott; 20/1 BAR

Au-revoir Allardyce: Avb 20/1 First Man Out!

The Premiership off season has probably never seen so much managerial movement and the latest odds from William Hill suggest that many will not be given much time to deliver. Hills are offering 11/8 that six or more managers leave their current roles during the season and 10/1 that either none or one go!

Sam Allardyce is the 8/1 favourite to be first out of the door, with Chris Hughton, Michael Laudrup and Steve Clarke all 9/1. The new Spurs manager, Andre Villas-Boas, is 20/1 to be first out with Sir Alex Ferguson the 100/1 outsider.

“With so much early movement you would think there would be very few moves in the season but as we all know, football is a results driven business and there aren’t too many second chances in the Premiership! said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

First Premier League Manager to Leave: 8/1 S Allardyce, 9/1 C Hughton, 9/1 M Laudrup, 9/1 S Clarke, 10/1 P Lambert, 11/1 B Rodgers, 11/1 M Hughes, 11/1 N Adkins, 11/1 R Di Matteo, 11/1 R Martinez, 12/1 M Jol, 16/1 B McDermott, 20/1 A Villas-Boas, 20/1 M O’Neill, 20/1 T Pulis, 25/1 A Pardew, 33/1 D Moyes, 33/1 R Mancini, 50/1 A Wenger, 66/1 No Manager to Leave, 100/1 A Ferguson.

How Many Premier League Managers will leave between the start and end of the 2012/13 Premier League season? 10/1 None or One, 9/4 Two or Three, 11/8 Four or Five, 11/8 Six or More.

Martinez 5/2 To Take The Crown From King Kenny

It appears likely that Kenny Dalglish will step down as manager of Liverpool today and William Hill make in-demand Wigan boss, Roberto Martinez, the 5/2 favourite to be the next boss at Anfield. Dalglish’s number two, Steve Clarke is 4/1 with Hills who also offer 5/1 Benitez, 7/1 Brendan Rodgers; 12/1 Martin O’Neill, 14/1 Andre Villas Boas and 16/1 about both Mourinho and Carlos Ancelotti.

“Despite his second stint in charge of Liverpool not quite being as successful as his first, he still remains a legend in Liverpool and his boots will be very big ones to fill,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Next Liverpool Manager: 5/2 Roberto Martinez; 4/1 Steve Clarke; 5/1 Rafael Benitez; 7/1 Brendan Rodgers; 12/1 Martin O’Neill; 14/1 Andre Villas-Boas; 16/1 Jose Mourinho; 16/1 Carlo Ancelotti; 20/1 Didier Deschamps; 20/1 Marcello Lippi; 20/1 Jurgen Klinsmann; 20/1 Paul Lambert; 25/1 BAR

RUDDY HELL! JOHN BACKED TO BE ON PLANE TO POLAND

John Ruddy, the Norwich City goalkeeper, has been backed in from 5/1 to 1/5 to make the England squad with Scott Carson’s price going the other way from 10/11 to 2/1 and David Stockdale’s going from 10/11 to 4/1.

“John Ruddy had a fantastic season, at some points singlehandedly keeping Norwich in matches and there has been quite a clamour in the last 24 hours to back him for a deserved England call up,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

With Scott Parker struggling with injury, William Hill have also cut his odds of not going to the Euros from 12/1 to 7/2. Paul Scholes could be the man to profit if Scott Parker does not make the squad, with Hills making him 6/4 for a sensational return to the England fold (1/2 he is not). Regardless of whether he makes the England squad, Scholes is 5/2 to start the game against France at the Euros (he is 2/7 not to).

CHAMPIONS SET TO GO OUT ROBIN & RAID ARSENAL AGAIN!

Manchester City have earmarked Robin van Persie as their number one summer target and William Hill offer 8/11 that the current Premier League Player of the Year has left Arsenal by the start of next season (Even money he is still there).

William Hill are offering 6/4 that Joey Barton’s ban, stemming from his incredible lack of self control against Manchester City, is 12 or more games (1/2 it is shorter).

“We were originally offering 5/6 that Joey’s ban would be shorter than eight games, but that was backed off the boards and so we had to bump up the number of games to 12,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

GRANT NEXT FOR MANAGERIAL HAMMERING?

AVRAM GRANT is 1/3 favourite with William Hill to be the next Premier League manager to leave his club this season. Hills also offer 11/2 Houllier; 11/2 Ancelotti; 10/1 McCarthy; 16/1 Hughes; 16/1 Martinez; 20/1 Kean; Di Matteo; Mancini; No more managers to go this season. ‘Mr Grant has been favourite in this market on five different occasions so far, and managed to survive thus far, so he probably isn’t even popular with football punters in general, let alone West Ham fans at the moment’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

BECKHAM 5/1 FOR ENGLAND COMEBACK

WILLIAM HILL offer 5/1 that David Beckham will play any part in ANY England game during 2011 – and 8/1 that he will play any part in any COMPETITIVE England game. ‘Should he get to play a number of games for Spurs Beckham could yet increase his tally of England caps’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

**Hills offer 6/1 that Beckham will play for Spurs and score against Manchester United. (Bets void if he doesn’t sign.)

He is then followed by a veritable army of British and Irish managers, with Dave Jones and Chris Hughton both 5/1 and Alan Curbishley at 6/1.

“Martin Jol performed well during his time at Tottenham and he is currently out of a job, however, should the fact that he is not British count against him, Dave Jones, Chris Hughton and Alan Curbishley are all waiting in the wings,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
