Rangers 7/2 To Be Perfect At Home

This weekend Rangers play their first home game in the fourth tier and William Hill go 7/2 that they win every home game this term and 6/4 that they stay unbeaten home and away in the league. Rangers are 15/8 to win against East Stirling with a -3 handicap.

“Rangers will want to put on a good show after a sorry summer for the club. They should take confidence from last weekend’s late equaliser to really show the fans they are up for this fight,” said William Hill spokesman Mark Young

Celtic travel to Ross County this weekend and are 4/9 for the victory. The last three games between the two clubs have produced 2-0 score lines on every occasion, one for Celtic and one for County. For either team to win 2-0 is 9/2. With both teams scoring in six of their last seven meetings, Hearts and Inverness are Even money to both score on Saturday.

Kilmarnock and Motherwell is not a fixture that produces many goals as only three of the last eight meetings have produced more than one goal. It is 21/10 that there is one or less goals this weekend. Aberdeen always seem to do well against St Johnstone, where they are travelling on Saturday, unbeaten in their last four visits. Aberdeen are 6/4 draw no bet.

The Dundee derby should produce some fireworks but Dundee are yet to score in the SPL this term. Dundee United are 13/10 to win to nil. Kenny McLean is on fire for St Mirren and for him to score anytime and the Saints to win is 17/2.

KUYT FLYING FROM LIVERPOOL?
Dirk Kuyt could be one of a number of high profile casualties at Liverpool this summer, with William Hill offering 5/4 that he has left the club by the start of next season. Another who could be on his way is Maxi Rodriguez, who is Even money to have gone in the same time frame. The good news for Liverpool, however, is that Suarez, Gerrard and Reina all look like they will be staying, with Hills making them 1/4, 1/16 and 1/12 respectively to still be at Anfield. ‘Kuyt is popular at Liverpool but he could be amongst the players most likely to leave the club before the start of next season’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Share.

DARREN BENT is optimistic that he can regain fitness in time to be part of the Euro squad but William Hill are less confident and offer 4/1 that he will be included in the final squad. ‘With the current shortage of reliable English forwards, other than Rooney, Bent will have a great chance of being included if he can overcome his serious injury in time’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills – Darren Bent to be in the Euro squad? 4/1 yes; 1/7 no

LAWRIE BETTING ON LADY BOSSES
Lawrie Sanchez has claimed that he can envisage a female manager taking charge of a Premier League club within the next ten years, but Hills disagree, offering 100/1 that a female is in the Premier League within the next decade. It is 33/1 for a female manager to be in the Football League within the next 5 years. ‘Apparently Sanchez has bet a pal that there will be a female Premier League boss within ten years – I hope he got decent odds as we’re prepared to offer 100/1about it happening!’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

What Animal Next To Invade Pitch After Anfield Cat ?

************************WILLIAM HILL FOOTBALL SPECIALS******************************************

AFTER THE ANFIELD MOGGY – WHICH ANIMAL WILL NEXT STOP PLAY IN A LIVE TELEVISED PREMIER LEAGUE MATCH?

After the unexpected arrival of a feline interloper on to the pitch at Anfield provided one of the most exciting moments of the 0-0 draw between Liverpool ad Spurs on Monday night, William Hill have opened a book on which will be the next animal to bring a Premier League game to a halt – and make a Dog the 6/4 favourite. ‘Many hard tackling players have in the past been compared with animals, but it is rare for a real animal – other than club mascots- to invade the pitch. The Anfield Cat was definitely the most interesting aspect of a very mundane goalless draw so we are inviting to punters to speculate on the creature involved next time it happens’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Fox 5/2
Cat 5/1
Squirrel 7/1

HOW MANY MORE PREM GOALS WILL TORRES SCORE THIS SEASON?

WILLIAM HILL offer 13/8 that Fernando Torres will score four or more goals between now and the end of the Premier League season, and also offer 3/1 that he scores three; 4/1 two; 5/1 one and 11/2 none at all.

WHERE WILL NEWCASTLE FINISH?

DESPTE currently challenging for a Champions League place, Newcastle are odds on with William Hill to finish between 7th and 10th in the Premier League.

TO WIN PREM TITLE..8/13 Man U; 7/4 Arsenal; 16 Chelsea; 25 Man C; 125 Spurs
12/1 UNITED-CITY 1-2 IN PREM
William Hill believe that Man U will win the Premier League title, with Arsenal as runners-up, and make that outcome their Even money favourite in their ‘Premier League Straight Forecast’ market, in which a Man U – Man C outcome is 12/1 – and 50/1 vice versa. ‘At the moment it looks more than likely that United and Arsenal will fill the first two places in the Premier League, but with United in particular facing tough matches against title rivals and both of them playing on more than one front with a Treble or Quadruple at stake there is time for dramatic changes at the top’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Sunderland Favourites To Avenge Their Tyne/wear Humiliation

William Hill are offering 100/1 that Sunderland can reverse the 5-1 drubbing that they received at the hands of their bitter rivals, Newcastle, earlier in the season while Sunderland are 5/4 to win the game outright. Hills are offering 4/7 that Sunderland finish above Newcastle in the Premier League this year with Newcastle 5/4 to finish above Sunderland. Sunderland are 4/1 to qualify for Europe this year while Newcastle are 14/1 to do so. Darren Bent is 9/4 to outscore Andy Carroll on Saturday.

“Sunderland have been on an incredible run of form recently and they will be itching to set the record straight after the 5-1 thumping at the hands of their neighbours earlier in the season,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “The odds suggest that come Sunday evening, it will be the Mackems that are celebrating.”
