Lee Clark was sacked by Huddersfield on Wednesday and William Hill have seen plenty of cash for him to become the new manager of Leeds. Just an hour after Huddersfield announced their decision, Clark became Hills 11/8 favourite for the Leeds job with Mick McCarthy 3/1 and Neil Warnock 9/2.

“There is no doubting that Lee Clark is a talented young manager and he swiftly became favourite for the Leeds job as soon as he was relieved of his duties at Huddersfield,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “Whether he would jump back into management so soon though is another matter.”
