Becks Odds On For Team G B And P S G !

He’s odds on for Team GB, but:
SACRE BLEU! BECKS OFF TO FRANCE?

DAVID BECKHAM has been cut from 4/6 to 1/3 with William Hill to play in the London Olympics for Team GB – while Hills have also opened a book on which will be his next club if he doesn’t re-sign for LA Galaxy.
Becks is 6/4 to sign another contract for the US outfit, and 1/2 not to – while Hills make French side PSG 1/2 favourites to be the next club to sign the former England skipper. ‘Short of inviting Stuart Pearce to be god-father to the next baby Becks, it is difficult to see how much more obvious he could make it that he expects to be included in Team GB’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe, ‘But the question of where he will next ply his trade looks likely to see him turning up in Paris.’

WILLIAM HILL BECKS’ SPECIALS…
To play any part in Team GB Olympic football team – 1/3 yes; 9/4 no
To re-sign for LA Galaxy? – 6/4 yes; 1/ 2 no
Which club will Becks sign for next?…1/2 PSG; 5/1 Spurs; 6/1 QPR; 10/1 Anzhi; 10/1 Blackburn; 12/1 Villa; 16/1 AC Milan; 33/1 Real Madrid. Others on request.

French 100/1 To Refuse To Play

SACRE BLEU – FRENCH 100-1 NOT PLAY THEIR MATCH AGAINST SOUTH AFRICA

William Hill are offering odds of 100-1 for the French team not to fulfil their fixture against South Africa next week following the news that they refused to train on Sunday.

The squad arrived at their training camp on Sunday, but they left after the fitness coach Robert Duverne stormed off following a heated argument with the coach Raymond Domenech.

The players were so incensed that the jumped back on the team bus, and refused to train.

Hills have also pushed France’s odds to beat South Africa out to 6-5 from 21-20.

‘We thought things couldn’t possibly get any worse in the French camp, but they just have,’ said Hills Irish spokesman Tony Kenny ‘France were already weak in the betting for their match against South Africa, however, the latest news will probably lead to them drifting even further.’

‘As an Irish football fan – the antics of the French team make our absence from the tournament even more painful.’

‘If they didn’t want to go to South Africa in the first place then they should have let us take their place in the finals.’ Said Kenny

SACRE BLEU – GAMBLER TO LIFT £1.5M IF FRANCE WIN WORLD CUP

WITH BOOKMAKERS WILLIAM HILL predicting that the World Cup will become the biggest betting event of all time with over £1billion gambled on the tournament, they have taken the largest single win bet on the tournament so far – £110,000 on France.
‘A southern based William Hill telephone client has staked a bet of £55,000 each-way on France to win the World Cup at odds of 20/1 – and will make a profit of £1,650,000 if they do so – the biggest ever World Cup winnings’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills have also taken their biggest bet so far for an England victory, of £6500 at 8/1 in a Knightsbridge, London betting shop – which would make a profit of £52,000; while other customers have staked £10,000 on Germany at 14/1, and $85,000 on a six-team accumulative bet.

**But Hills are also taking slightly smaller, but perhaps more original bets as well – TWO of their customers have backed children called Bobby Moore to captain England in the future. Proud grandfather John Moore, from Great Yarmouth will win £100,000 if his grandson Bobby, born in November, 2003, captains England after staking £20 at 5000/1.

**And a second Bobby Moore – this one as yet UNBORN! – will win his proud father-to-be, £82,500 if he grows up to play for West Ham and wins the World Cup with England. Daniel Moore, from Stanstead Abbotts, Hertfordshire has staked four £5 bets that his son will play for West Ham (500/1); play for England (1000/1); skipper England (5000/1) and win the World Cup with England (10,000/1). This Bobby Moore is due to be born on July 1, 2010 – and Daniel has staked a further £10 at 10/1 that he is born on a day England are playing at the World Cup.

**ROBERT GROVES OF RUISLIP, NORTH WEST LONDON, HAS PLACED A BET WITH WILLIAM HILL ON A WORLD CUP DREAM HE HAD COMING TRUE. MR GROVES COULD COLLECT £50,000 AFTER HE DREAMED THAT PETER CROUCH WILL SCORE THE ONLY GOAL OF THE WORLD CUP FINAL AGAINST ARGENTINA, WITH A 78TH MINUTE HEADER, AND STAKED £10 AT 5000/1 THAT IT WILL HAPPEN.

**RICHARD ENDICOTT, AN ENGLISHMAN CURRENTLY LIVING AND WORKING IN NEW JERSEY, USA,WILL WIN £1MILLION IF HIS UNBORN SON GROWS UP TO SCORE A GOAL FOR ENGLAND DURING THE 2030 WORLD CUP FINALS AFTER STAKING £100 AT 10,000/1 ABOUT THIS HAPPENING.

WILLIAM HILL are betting on what the final average tally for goals per game in Premiership matches will be this season, and offer 11/1 that it will be over 2.9 per game.’There have been goals galore in the Prem so far this season but we think the ultimate average per game is likely to be between 2.61 and 2.7, so we make that range our 6/4 favourite’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

The Gunners are 14/1 with Hills to score 100 or more Prem goals. ‘It has been goals galore for the Gunners at home and if they can keep them flowing 100 should be within their capabilities’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

With the Arsenal-Blackburn match clocking up a new highest aggregate of the Prem season so far, 8 goals, Hills offer 2/5 that no game this season will produce 9 or more; 5/2 that 9 will be the highest aggregate of the Prem season; 9/1 that 10 will be the highest aggregate; 20/1 that 11 or more will be highest aggregate.
