Despite the woeful World Cup and the current injury crisis bookmakers William Hill have been astounded by the overwhelming support for England with nine in ten William Hill shop punters backing the Three Lions for victory tomorrow.

The trend continues online where the favourite’s odds of 3/10 have not put punters off, with 95% of bets being fielded for England.

England are just 7/1 to win every Group game and 2/5 to win Group G. In the overall betting England are the 9/1 fourth favourite behind 7-2 favourites Spain.
