Hills Hammered By Goal Fest Prem

Every Premier League side playing scored this weekend, the second time that it has happened this season and cost William Hill over £1 million. A quarter of all football coupon bets every weekend are placed on Both Teams To Score coupon, which is still in its relative infancy, having only been introduced at the start of the 2009/10 season. Earlier this year, Hills were hit for another seven figure sum when every Premier League team scored.

“At the start of this season, the Both Teams To Score coupon accounted for around 10% of our football coupon turnover, since then, however, it has grown to around 25% of revenue,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly, “helped, no doubt, by the fact that the bet runs for the full 90 minutes of the match if you back both sides to score.”

This Weekend’s Both Teams To Score:
Blackburn / Manchester United: 8/11 Yes; 1/1 No
Sunderland / Wolves: 10/11 Yes; 10/11 No
West Brom / Everton: 4/6 Yes; 11/10 No

Zola Cut To Be Next Chelsea Manager!

Gianfranco Zola has been cut from 25/1 to 16/1 with Hills to become Chelsea’s next permanent manager following the news that he is being lined up as a coach by the Stamford Bridge outfit. Carlo Ancelotti is now 8/13 to have been relieved of his duties at Chelsea and Guus Hiddink is 5/2 favourite to take over with Jose Mourinho the 11/4 second favourite.

“A few years back, Gianfranco Zola was voted Chelsea’s best ever player, it now seems as if he could follow that up by becoming manager,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Next Permanent Chelsea Manager: 5/2 Guus Hiddink; 11/4 Jose Mourinho; 5/1 Pep Guardiola; 8/1 Andre Villas Boas; 10/1 Didier Deschamps; 12/1 Martin O’Neill; 14/1 Frank Rijkaard; 14/1 Jurgen Klinsmann; 14/1 Marco van Basten; 16/1 David Moyes; 16/1 Gianfranco Zola; 16/1 Harry Redknapp; 16/1 Rafael Benitez; 20/1 BAR

Mario Balotelli is 5/1 to open the scoring, while Edin Dzeko is 11/2. Hills are 7/10 that both teams score during the game.

Fergie Set To Ring Changes For Visit Of Chelsea

Manchester United made light work of Schalke at Old Trafford with a second string side and Sir Alex Ferguson now looks ahead to his tie with Chelsea on Sunday. Hills offer 11/10 that just two of Wednesday’s starting XI take to the field at the start of the weekend’s big match and 11/1 that four or more do so. Following Manuel Neuer’s capitulation in front of the Old Trafford crowd, Hill’s have lengthened the odds of him starting United’s first game of next season to 8/1 from 11/2. The odds suggest that if Fergie is to bring in another keeper, it will more than likely be David De Gea, who is 9/4 to start United’s first game of next season.

“Fergie obviously had one eye on Sunday’s game when naming his side against Schalke and the odds suggest that he will ring the changes against Chelsea,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

United are the 7/5 favourites to win on Sunday, while Chelsea are offered at 19/10. The draw is 23/10. All eyes will be on the two sides’ big strikers and Hills are offering markets on what both Torres and Rooney will do first. Wenger-to-go odds cut:
GUNNERS 7/1 TO BLOW IT AGAIN

Arsenal threw away yet another winning position against Tottenham on Wednesday and Hills are offering 7/1 that Arsenal lead against Bolton this weekend, yet still fail to win.
ARSENE WENGER HAS BEEN CUT FROM 6/1 TO 10/3 NO LONGER TO BE ARSENAL MANAGER ON THE FIRST DAY OF NEXT SEASON, AND LENGTHENED FROM 1/12 TO 1/5 STILL TO BE THERE. ‘Noone can doubt Wenger’s mangerail achievements but even the most patient of fans and boards eventually demand some silver on the table’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
And Hills now make Chelsea favourites to finish above the Gunners this season. ‘Arsenal have thrown away several priceless opportunities to catch Man U, and now run the risk of finishing 3rd as Chelsea’s recovery gathers pace and the Gunners’ reputation for being unable to hold on to a lead grows’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Arsene 11/4 To Leave Emirates As United 7/2 To Win Title By 10 Or More Points

WILL WENGER COME BACK FOR MORE NEXT SEASON? DON’T BET ON IT.

With Arsenal’s title hopes in tatters, and another trophy-less season almost certain, William Hill have cut their odds for Arsene Wenger no longer to be Gunners’ boss on the first day of next season from 10/3 to 11/4 . ‘The strain is clearly getting to Arsene who has looked increasingly as though he will spontaneously combust in a match shortly. He may well decide that enough is enough should the fans demonstrate dissatissfaction at Arsenal’s trophy-less run’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. Wenger is 1/4 with Hills still to be boss next season.

AND HILLS ALSO OFFER 11/10 THAT FABREGAS WILL NO LONGER BE AT ARSENAL ON THE FIRST DAY OF NEXT SEASON, 4/6 THAT HE WILL STILL BE THERE.
