World Cup Ref Webb 7/1 To Show Most Prem Red Cards

WHO’LL BE TOP RED REF OF PREM SEASON?

WILLIAM HILL have opened a book on which referee will show the greatest number of red cards during the Premier League season, and installed Andre Marriner as 9/2 favourite to do so, with World Cup Final ref Howard Webb a 13/2 shot – and Hills are also betting on how many red cards in total will be issued during the season, making 70 or more a 9/4 chance. ‘Refs always say they prefer not to flourish red cards, but some seem to be more readily inclined to do so than others’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
