There’s Only One Kean-go

Bolton Wanderers secured a vital victory which leaves Blackburn rooted to the bottom of the Premier League at Christmas. Traditionally that means they will get relegated and William Hill agree, offering 4/9 that they go down. Bolton are 5/6 with Hills also offering Wigan at 8/15 and Wolves 7/4. Hills are now offering odds on when Kean will actually depart Blackburn and make him 5/4 to have gone before Boxing Day and 9/1 to leave in the immediate aftermath of the Liverpool game that day (before the 31st). He is 8/13 to still be in charge when Blackburn take on Stoke on the 2nd of January.

“Steve Kean appears to be on borrowed time and there is only so long that the Venkys family can turn a deaf ear of the protestations of the Rovers fans,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
