8/1 Hodgson To Return To Craven Cottage…or Will Banksy Hijacko Wacko?

Following the unveiling of Fulham’s rather bizarre Michael Jackson statue, bookmakers William Hill are betting on what will happen first to the effigy. Hills offer 6/1 that a pot of paint is thrown over it, while 8/1 is on offer for somebody to put a Roy Hodgson mask over Jacko’s face. Hills offer 20/1 that Banksy decorates the statue and 25/1 that his microphone is replaced by an umbrella.

“To say that the statue has not gone down well, would be an understatement and it would come as no surprise if somebody did decorate it in their own special way,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

What Will Happen To The Michael Jackson Statue:
6/1 Pot of paint thrown over it
8/1 Roy Hodgson mask put on it
10/1 Fulham shirt to be put on it
12/1 Glove hand to be chopped off
14/1 Chelsea shirt to be put on it
16/1 Head chopped off
20/1 For Banksy to ‘decorate’ the statue
25/1 To have the microphone replaced by an umbrella

‘There is tremendous in what is an unprecedented case being brought against a player and as it is Rooney everyone has an opinion. There would seem to be every chance he will appeal, so we have opened a book on what punishment he will receive if he does so – and will of course refund stakes should he decide not to’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

WILL THIRTY NINE POINTS BE ENOUGH FOR PREMIER LEAGUE SURVIVAL?

WITH the relegation scrap looking like going right to the end of the season, William Hill have opened a book on how many points the 18th placed side in the table will end the season with – and offer 6/4 that it will be 38 or fewer. ‘Managers in the bottom half of the table are furiously working out how many points they need to be safe – we think 39 should do it’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Arry Backed To Be Next Boss Out This Season As Villa 11/4 To Drop Into Bottom 3

REDKNAPP BACKED TO BE NEXT BOSS OUT

Harry Redknapp has been backed from 100/1 to 9/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his club this season with William Hill who make Steve Kean 8/13 favourite with Roberto Martinez 4/1; Gerard Houllier 5/1; Roberto Mancini 10/1; Carlo Ancelotti 12/1. Hills offer 13/8 that no more managers will leave this season. ‘We have seen a number of new clients opening accounts purely to bet on Harry being the next to go this season and although we can see no possible reason why this should happen we’ve had to react to the money as no one else is being backed at the moment’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

You Bet: Capello To Ring The Changes In Time For Swiss Visit

England drew with Ghana and William Hill think that Fabio Capello may ring in the changes, offering 33/1 that he sticks with 10 or 11 of tonight’s starting XI for the match against Switzerland. He is Even money to keep between none and three. The midfield three consisted of Gareth Barry, James Milner and Jack Wilshere and Hills think that Milner will start the most games out of the three, offering him at 5/4, followed by Jack Wishere at 11/8. Andy Carroll scored his first England game and he is Even money to start the game against Switzerland.

“The match was thoroughly entertaining, although Capello will have wanted a win and the odds suggest that he will bring in a fair few changes by the time their next fixture comes around,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Following their last gasp equaliser, Ghana are 11/2 to win the African Cup of Nations.

6/4 For Capello To Put His Foot In It With Wenger

William Hill are offering odds on what Fabio Capello will say during his post match interview after the Ghana game tonight. The 1/5 favourite is that he once again finds himself discussing the England captaincy. He is 1/2 to mention the U21 European Championships, a topic that has caused much consternation for Arsene Wenger, and Capello is 6/4 to make mention of the Arsenal boss.

With Capello struggling to decide who should start up front with Wayne Rooney, he is 100/1 to mention Michael Ricketts in his post match interview on ITV.

“Arsene Wenger is not happy that Fabio Capello has lobbied for Jack Wilshere to compete in the U21 European Championships and Fabio could well use the post match interview to address the issue,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Jack Wilshere is 4/9 to play for England at the U21 European Championship.

William Hill Odds:

What Will Fabio Capello Say During His Post Match Interview On ITV1*:
1/2 U21s European Championship
6/4 Arsenal/Arsene Wenger
1/5 England Captaincy
11/4 Jose Mourinho
5/2 To Swear (a post watershed swear word)
