You Bet Fabio Won’t Be ‘cap’ Ello Next Time Out!!

6/1 England boss to be capped against Wales……….
YOU BET FABIO WON’T BE ‘CAP’ ELLO NEXT TIME OUT!!

WILLIAM HILL are offering odds of 6/1 that Fabio Capello will again be seen wearing his England baseball-style cap when England play their next Euro qualifier against Wales. ‘Even Mr Capello, with his somewhat limited understanding of the English language will have realised that some of the headlines referring to his choice of headwear and the outcome of the game were not complimentary’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. ‘He may have the power to hand out caps to his players, but one suspects he won’t be planning on keeping them as a feature of his own matchday attire’

AND Hills believe that the poor result against a side which appears to have improved more since the World Cup than England, has made Fabio a10/1 shot to quit his job before the end of this year. ‘He was 33/1 to go before the end of this year when the England-France game kicked off, but he might just decide to give it up as a bad job after the result and the reaction of the Wembley crowd.’

MEANWHILE, Hills have lengthened their odds for England to both HOST the 2018 World Cup, and WIN the tournament, from 14/1 to 20/1.’Last night’s result did not point to a glorious England revival any time soon’ said Sharpe.

HARRY REDKNAPP is 2/1 favourite with William Hill to be the next permanent England manager – and Hills have shortened their odds that the next incumbent will be an Englishman from 4/9 to 4/11 following the France result, and now offer 2/1 that it will be another ‘foreigner’ or non Englishman.’The mood of the nation seems to be that the job should go to an Englishman’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

William Hill offer 11/8 that just THREE or fewer of the team that started against France line up for the Three Lions next competitive fixture against Wales.
Andy Carroll is 5/2 to start the game against Wales (2/7 not to). He is 50/1 to be the leading scorer in Euro 2012.

You Bet Stoke Boss Safest In Division !

YOU BET TONY PULIS SAFEST BOSS BET TO SURVIVE UNTIL NEXT SEASON…..

WITH A NUMBER OF PREMIER LEAGUE managers under short or long term pressure for various reasons, William Hill have opened a book on the individual chances of each of the 20 bosses leaving their current club before the first day of next season or not and, slightly surprisingly, have made Stoke’s Tony Pulis the best bet still to be in place when 2011/12 season kicks off. ‘You can make a case for almost every one of the 20 managers not to be in place on the first day of next season – Fergie may have retired, Arsene Wenger may have quit after winning nothing again, Ancelotti hay have won everything and fancy a new challenge, other bosses may have been sacked after disappointing seasons – but we think Tony Pulis is bomb-proof at Stoke and make him 1/20 still to be there’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe, ‘But we reckon Roy Hodgson is the most vulnerable boss at the moment – and he’s 4/7 to be gone by the first day of the next campaign, with Chris Hughton not far behind him at 8/11.’

HODGSON AND HUGHTON NOW JOINT FAVOURITES TO BE NEXT BOSS OUT

Under pressure Newcastle boss Chris Hughton has been cut from 7/2 to 6/4 joint favourite with Roy Hodgson to be the next Prem manager to leave his club. ‘Rumours are rife that Hughton is not guaranteed a new contract with Newcastle, and the weekend derby against Sunderland could be crucial for his future prospects’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

WILL HERNANDEZ OUT-SHOOT ROONEY?

WITH Hernandez boosting his reputation in the absence of Wayne Rooney, William Hill are offering odds of 7/4 about the young Mexican outscoring the out of form England striker during the remainder of this season in all major competitions (Prem; Carling Cup; FA Cup; Champions League).
Hills make Rooney 8/15 to score more than his younger team-mate, with a tie between them offered at 8/1. ‘Wayne has inadvertently heaped even more pressure on his own shoulders during a period in which he is showing only glimpses of his best form, and the new kid on the block is threatening to out-shoot the ageing gunslinger!’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

HODGSON STILL FAVOURITE TO BE NEXT BOSS OUT

DESPITE Liverpool’s victory over Blackburn, Roy Hodgson remains odds-on to be the next Premier League boss to leave his job with William Hill who make him a 4/6 chance to do so. ‘The Sunday papers were full of stories suggesting that Roy’s time is running out, so although the win is a step in the right direction he still seems to be under severe threat from the new owners’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Pearce 5/1 To Get England Call After Fabio

PEARCE 5/1 TO GET ENGLAND CALL AFTER CAPELLO

DESPITE saying that he currently lacks the necessary experience to become England manager, William Hill quote him as 5/1 fourth favourite to get the job when Fabio Capello steps down. ‘If the FA decide to opt for an Englishman, Pearce has to be a serious contender ,and he would be a popular choice’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
But Hills make Harry Redknapp 2/1 favourite to succeed Fabio and also offer 9/2 Roy Hodgson and Martin O’Neill; 5/1 Pearce; 10/1 Steve Bruce; 12/1 Sam Allardyce; 14/1 Jose Mourinho; Alan Shearer.16/1 Guus Hiddink; Ian Holloway; 25/1 Steve McClaren.

Capello 6/1 To Still Be In Charge After Euro 2012

GERRARD 11/2 TO SKIPPER ALL REMAINING QUALIFIERS

Harry Redknapp is the 11/4 favourite at William Hill to succeed Fabio Capello when he steps down as England manager after the 2012 European Championships. New Liverpool boss, Roy Hodgson is the 10/3 second favourite and Martin O’Neill is just behind him at 4/1. David Beckham has been backed in from 33/1 to 20/1 to take over. The next manager is 1/5 to be English and 10/3 that he is non-English.

Hills offer 11/2 that he goes before the European Championships start and 6/1 Fabio is in charge of England’s first game after the Euros.

Despite claiming that he wishes to enjoy his retirement after the 2012 Championships, Hills are offering 3/1 that he moves back to Italy after the 2012 Euros and manages a Serie A club and 7/2 that he manages a club in Spain. He is 5/1 to not manage before the start of 2014 and 9/2 that he manages a Premier League club.

“Capello appears to have made up his mind to leave after the Euros and we can only hope that he leaves on a high. Should his reputation take another battering in Poland and Ukraine, however, the odds suggest that he may give club management one last shot,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

GERRARD 11/2 TO SKIPPER ALL REMAINING QUALIFIERS

William Hill are offering 11/2 that Stephen Gerrard captains England for all of the remaining European qualifiers. Conversely Rio Ferdinand is 1/7 to captain in any qualifying game.

“Rio is the current England captain but at the moment he faces a fight to get back into the starting XI following an impressive start to qualifying, so Steven Gerrard could yet stay as captain for a while yet,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Fabio Capello Odds:

To Leave Before The Start Of Euro 2012: 11/2

To Still Be England Manager For England’s First Game After Euro 2012: 6/1

Where Will Fabio Go After The Euros (to manage): 3/1 Serie A; 7/2 La Liga; 9/2 Any other (including staying England Boss); 9/2 Premier League; 5/1 Not To Manage Before 31/12/13; 7/1 Any International; 11/1 Bundesliga; 16/1 Ligue 1

ODDS ON NEXT ENGLAND BOSS WILL BE ENGLISH

WILLIAM HILL have cut their odds for the next England manager to be English from 1/3 to 1/8 after an FA spokesman confirmed that they planned to appoint an English manager next time round. Hills offer 9/2 that the next appointee will not be English.
‘It is odd that the FA should be making such announcements at a time when they are also apparently confirming their confidence in Fabio who could, in theory, stay around until 2012’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills have made Harry Redknapp 9/4 favourite to be next England boss – with David Beckham at 20/1.

BLACKPOOL FANS ROCK BOOKIES WITH 25/1 WINNER

WILLIAM HILL have paid out to punters who took their odds of 25/1 that Blackpool would top the Premier League at somestage this season after they led the way on goal difference after their 4-0 win at Wigan and before Chelsea hammered WBA 6-0.
‘Blackpool fans are collecting their first cash of the season after taking 25/1 that their side would top the League – we’re also concerned that so many of them backed Blackpool to WIN the League that we have had to slash their odds to 2000/1 and we already face a £5m loss – if they carry on as they have started we may start to get a little nervous!’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Prem Sack Race: Hughton Out Of Toon First …how Many Managers Will Bite The Bullet!

With the Premier League season just weeks away, William Hill are already speculating on which of the most endangered of species, Premiership managers, will be first to go. William Hill make Newcastle’s Chris Hughton the 4/1 favourite to bite the bullet, with big spending Man City 5/1 to give Roberto Mancini the elbow first. Elsewhere, Roberto Di Matteo is 11/2, Roberto Martinez 7/1 and Steve Bruce 8/1. The longest serving managers in the Premiership Ferguson and Wenger are both 66/1 outsiders and David Moyes is 40/1. No managers to get the sack all season is 40/1. Hills odds suggest that the season will see four or five manager casualities, is offered at 13/8.

“With the emergence of a big 7 in the Premiership, the pressure is on at both ends of the table, with points more important than ever in the hunt for glory. It could well be, that the pressure to win games becomes too much for some managers and there could be a few victims in the queue at the dole office by the end of the season,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

William Hill: How Many Premiership Managers Will Leave Their Post Before End Of 2010/11 Season?: 14/1 None or One, 3/1 Two or Three, 13/8 Four or Five, 9/4 Six or seven, 11/2 Eight or more
