Bromley Man Strikes It Lucky For Second Time!
A Kent man in his fifties was celebrating for the second time in less than a year after beating odds of almost 2000/1 to scoop a massive £38,033.24 from his local William Hill shop in Bromley. It was not the first time that this customer has won big in recent times, having had a 12 fold accumulator late last year that paid out £27,000.
This time around the punter, who wishes to remain anonymous, selected 15 sides from various leagues and competitions around Europe in a £20 football accumulator. Among his selections were sides from the Europa and Champions League, the Dutch second division and the Polish Premier League. Despite having a seemingly varied knowledge of football on the continent, Arsenal (8/15 to defeat Newcastle), Chelsea (to defeat Napoli at 4/6) and Manchester City (2/9 to defeat Sporting Lisbon) were all in his coupon.
Usually I would have said that this was a once in a lifetime bet but this guy has knocked us for six twice in a year, he is the new guru, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.
Other customers are asking us what he is betting on so they can follow him, said staff in the shop.

Bolton and Blackburn were the two sides at the bottom who benefitted from todays basement battles and Hills make those two North West sides 8/15 (Bolton) and 4/9 (Blackburn) to stay up. The current bottom three (Wigan, Wolves and QPR) are in increasing amounts of peril and Hills go just 11/10 that Wigan, QPR and Wolves all get relegated at the start of the season. Wigan and Wolves are 2/9 and 3/10 respectively to be relegated.
Wolves and Wigan have not been playing particularly well over the last few weeks and QPR will certainly be looking at their upcoming fixtures with increasing trepidation, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly. As things stand, it is easy to see why they are our big favourites for the drop.
Chelsea squeaked past 10 man Stoke by the narrowest of margins, but at the same time maintained Roberto Di Matteos 100% record. Hills offer 4/1 that they reamain undefeated in the next four fixtures, including a tricky trip to Manchester City and a home tie against Napoli their next game for which they are 7/2 to be defeated.
