Arsenal Will Gir-roud The Day They Sold Rvp

Robin van Persie looks set to sign for Manchester United and William Hill make him 8/11 to score more Premier League goals than Wayne Rooney and he is 5/6 to score 22 or more goals. Van Persie won last season’s PFA player of the year award and he is 7/2 to pick up the award again this season. The loss of van Persie could have an adverse effect on Arsenal and they are odds on, at 8/15 to finish lower than the third place they finished last season while Manchester United are 5/6 to score more than the 89 goals that they scored last term.

Van Persie is 8/1 to score four or more Premier League goals against his former club this season while he is 11/10 to outscore both Giroud and Podolski put together.

“It looks as though van Persie will hit the ground running for Manchester United and he could possibly reach a similar goals tally to what he approached last season while at the other end of the spectrum, without his goals, Arsenal’s grip on third spot may slip,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

There are a couple of names who could be elbowed out of Old Trafford following RVP’s arrival and Javier Hernandez is 7/2 to move to Arsenal from Manchester United and 9/2 to move to Spurs. Real Madrid have often been linked with the striker and he is 10/1 to move to the Bernabeu from Old Trafford. Dimitar Berbatov could also be on his way and Hills make QPR the 4/1 favourites to secure his signature upon him leaving Old Trafford.

Easter Sunday, Title Race Decider? United Evens To Win League By Seven Or More

Easter Sunday could be decisive in the race for the Premier League and William Hill go 5/6 that the destination of the title is decided before the Manchester derby at the end of April (5/6 it is not). Hills are offering Even money that Manchester United win the title by seven or more points although they are 5/1 to fail to win the title. Manchester United are 1/9 to win the League, City are 5/1. City’s recent slump could prove costly, not just for the club, but for their manager as well and he is Even money to have left the club by the first game of next season.

Arsenal will be hopeful that they can keep hold of goal-machine Robin van Persie with his contract due to expire in just over 12 months, although the omens are not good, with Hill making 5/4 to have left the Gunners by the start of next season.

Mark Hughes came to QPR with the backing of mega rich owners with the proviso that he keeps them in the Premier League. Things have not worked out as planned so far, but despite this, Hills make him 1/4 to still be at Loftus Road on the first day of next season (11/4 to have left).

William Hill Football Odds:

Premier League outright: 1/9 Manchester United; 5/1 Manchester City; 750/1 Arsenal, Tottenham

How many points will Premier League title winners get: 7/4 93+; 7/4 89-92; 6/4 88 or less

How many points will United win the League by: 1/1 7 or more; 4/1 4-6; 6/1 1-3; 10/1 goal difference; 5/1 not to win it

Mancini to be at City on the first day of next season: 8/11 yes; 1/1 no

Premier League title to be won before kickoff of the Manchester derby: 5/6 yes; 5/6 no

RVP still at Arsenal on the first day of next season: 4/7 yes; 5/4 no

Mark Hughes still at QPR at the start of next season: 1/4 yes; 11/4 no

Can’t Play/won’t Play: Torres And Tevez Latest…rvp 11/4 To Break Prem Goals Record

Fernando Torres failed to find the net against Birmingham, despite playing for the whole game and William Hill are now offering 2/1 that he fails to score for Chelsea in the Premier League for the rest of this season (4/11 that he bags at least one). Saying this however, he is Even money to grab his first goal of 2012 against Stoke this weekend. Roberto Di Matteo made it one in one and Hills are now betting on when Chelsea will lose their first match under the Italian. Hills reckon the most likely match for them to suffer their first defeat under Di Matteo is the Manchester City match on the 19th March (5/4,) although they are 7/1 to lose against Stoke this weekend.

Carlos Tevez returned to the goals when he netted against Bolton in the reserves and William Hill are offering 1/3 that he appears in the Premier League again this season. He is 5/4 to score more 2012 goals in the Premier League than Fernando Torres (4/7 vice versa).

Manchesters City and United are playing in the Europa League on Thursday and William Hill are offering 9/1 that the two sides meet in the final. United are Even money to score more goals at home against Athletic Bilbao (City are 17/10 to get more against Sporting Lisbon, with a tie 3/1).

Robin van Persie is just nine goals away from breaking the most goals in a season record of 34 and William Hill are offering 11/4 that he reaches 35 this season. He is 5/2 to equal the record and 14/1 to fail to score another goal all season.

“In a season that has seen big money players fail to find the net and refuse to even play, Robin van Persie has wowed the public and fired the goals that have kept Arsenal in contention for a top four spot and it is not out of the question that he will break Andy Cole and Alan Shearer’s record,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

When will Torres next score: 1/1 Stoke; 3/1 Napoli; 4/1 Leicester; 14/1 Manchester City; 11/1 Tottenham; 11/1 Aston Villa; 9/4 none of these games
*must start vs Stoke on 10th March or bets void **matches must be played on named dates or bets void

Where will Chelsea finish in the Premier League: 13/8 top four; 5/6 fifth; 5/1 sixth; 11/2 seventh or lower

Tevez to play again for Manchester City this season in the Premier League: 1/3 yes; 9/4 no

EPL goals match bet (From now): 4/7 Torres; 5/4 Tevez

‘ARRY’S ENGLAND ODDS LENGTHENED AFTER DRUBBING AT EMIRATES

WILLIAM HILL have lengthened their odds for Harry Redknapp to be appointed as the next permanent England manager from 4/11 to 4/9 after Spurs’ horror-show at Arsenal.’If Harry thinks the reaction to the Spurs’ fans and the media after that result is bad, he may also consider the effect a similar defeat by England might be greeted when and if he becomes boss of the national team’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
However, the Spurs’ result is good news for Arsene Wenger – a25/1 chance to get the England job – who is now odds-on still to be in charge at the Emirates on the first day of next season with Hills who make him 8/15 still to be there, 11/8 to be gone, while his star striker RVP is 5/6 to be there, 5/6 not to.

Football Betting News From William Hill Bookmaker 2012-02-13 00:00:00

Klinsmann Back To White Hart Lane? Tevez To Return To City? RVP To Madrid?

William Hill are offering 14/1 that Harry Redknapp qualifies for the Champions League for Spurs AND wins the European Championships as England manager. Should Redknapp become the England manager, a job for which he is 4/11 to get, Hills make Jose Mourinho the 9/2 favourite to succeed him at White Hart Lane. Newspaper reports have, however, suggested that current US coach and Spurs legend, Jurgen Klinsmann could be in line to take over and he has been cut from 16/1 to 10/1 to take over from Redknapp.

“Klinsmann is a legend at Spurs and has shown himself to be quite a capable manager as well,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “Spurs fans would not be upset with his appointment.”

Fernando Torres’ barren spell continued against Everton on Saturday but Hills reckon he could return to scoring ways in the FA Cup being 6/5 to score his next goal for Chelsea against Birmingham. He is 9/2 to bag his next against Napoli and the same price to do so against Bolton. It is 6/1 for his next Chelsea goal to come against West Brom, although he is 3/1 to fail to score in any of those four matches. Andre Villas Boas is also under pressure at Chelsea and Hills are offering 6/1 that both he and Torres have left Chelsea by the first game of next season.

Carlos Tevez is reportedly returning to Manchester on Tuesday and has been earmarked for a return to the City squad over the coming weeks, but William Hill are odds on (at 4/7) that he does not make another appearance for the Blues this season (5/4 he does).

“The January transfer window has shut and Tevez staying in Argentina does nobody any favours,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “His return could well see him back in the first team squad.”

Arsene Wenger has described the Spanish press as “creative” as they suggest that Robin van Persie could be joining Real Madrid in the summer. William Hill offer 8/11 that van Persie is still at Arsenal on the first day of next season, but also offer 5/2 that he is at Real Madrid. He is 6/1 to have joined Barcelona, 9/1 Manchester City and 14/1 Paris Saint Germain.

4/1 PRE-MATCH HANDSHAKES TO BE SCRAPPED

WILLIAM HILL are offering 4/1 that pre-match handshakes will be scrapped officially in Premier League matches before the start of next season. Hills had offered 1/5 that Evra and Suarez WOULD shake hands, and 10/3 that they would not. Hills go 5/1 that Kenny Dalglish and Luis Suarez have left Liverpool by the first game of next season.

After Rio Ferdinand refused to shake hands with Suarez, Hills are offering 11/4 that he and John Terry will NOT start in the same Euro 12 side for England.

When will Torres next score: 6/5 Birmingham; 9/2 Napoli; 9/2 Bolton; 6/1 WBA; 3/1 not to score in any of these matches
*must start the first game or bets void

6/1 Both Andre Villas Boas and Fernando Torres to have left Chelsea by the start of 2012/13 season

5/1 Both Kenny Dalglish and Luis Suarez to have left Liverpool by the start of 2012/13 season

Next Spurs Manager: 9/2 Jose Mourinho; 6/1 David Moyes; 10/1 Jurgen Klinsmann; 10/1 Carlo Ancelotti; 10/1 Brendan Rodgers; 12/1Tim Sherwood; 12/1 Martin O’Neill; 16/1 Mark Hughes; 16/1 Gus Poyet; 16/1Paul Lambert; 16/1 Slaven Bilic; 20/1 BAR

Redknapp to qualify for Champions League with Spurs and win Euros with England: 14/1

Carlos Tevez to play again for Manchester City this season (EPL or Europa League): 5/4 yes; 4/7 no

Robin van Persie club next season: 8/11 Arsenal; 5/2 Real Madrid; 6/1 Barcelona; 9/1 Manchester City; 14/1 PSG; 16/1 AC Milan; 20/1 Inter Milan; 33/1 Chelsea
