Newcastle Odds On Not To Find Ground Sponsor

ASHLEY ODDS-ON TO FAIL TO FIND ST JAMES’ SPONSOR!

WITH MIKE ASHLEY SET TO SELL naming rights to Newcastle’s St James’ Park, bookmakers William Hill have opened a book on whether those rights will actually be sold, and what the ground will be known as.
Hills believe it is unlikely that a stadium name sponsor will come forward and offer 4/7 that the ground name has either NOT changed at all by the first day of next season, or is still known as the Sports Direct Arena.
‘It is one thing putting the naming rights up for grabs, another getting the right deal – and Mr Ashley could conceivably even have changed his mind and sold the club by then’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hill’s make Tesco the most likely sponsor’s name to be added to the ground name, quoting the supermarket chain at 10/1, and also offering:

100/1 England To Win Both Euro 2012/world Cup 2014.

Ancelotti 16/1 to be next England boss, but:
ENGLAND WORLD CUP ODDS ON THE DRIFT

WILLIAM HILL have lengthened England’s 2014 World Cup odds from 12/1 to 16/1 following their disappointing display against Switzerland. They have also lengthened France from 20/1 to 28/1 following the announcement of the seedings for the forthcoming World Cup draw, and shortened favourites Brazil from 7/2 to 5/2, with second favourites Spain out to 5/1 from 9/2.
‘We have decided that on current form, under the current manager England do not warrant being any shorter than 16/1 and that as we have no idea who the boss will be when 2014 gets underway we should be looking to lay them now’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
WITH CARLO ANCELOTTI taking a year out but reportedly saying he wants to remain in management in England, Hill’s have introduced him into the ‘Next England manager’ market at 16/1. ‘If it is decided to opt for another foreign boss Ancelotti would surely be a contender – after all, he speaks better English than Capello’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

HILL’S 2014 WORLD CUP…5/2 Brazil; 5/1 Spain; 6/1 Argentina; 11/1 Germany; 12/1 Holland; 16/1 England; 20/1 Italy; 25/1 Portugal; 28/1 France; 33/1 Chile; 50/1 Uruguay; 50/1 Ivory Coast; 50/1 Serbia; 66/1 Russia; Paraguay; Croatia; Mexico; 80/1 USA; Ghana; Sweden.
HILLS OFFER 100/1 THAT ENGLAND WILL WIN BOTH EURO 2012 AND WORLD CUP 2014

Feelgood Factor Kicks In As Punters Pile On ‘ Pool

‘FEELGOOD FACTOR’ KICKS IN AS PUNTERS PILE ON ‘POOL

WILLIAM HILL have cut Liverpool’s odds against Everton from 2/1 to 19/10 as punters bet on the feelgood factor kicking in as they play their first game since the new owners were announced. ‘We’ve only made a slight cut to Liverpool’s odds, but since the takeover was announced we’ve seen an upsurge in support for Liverpool to win the fixture with one punter in a branch in Chester gambling £4000 on them – the biggest bet we’ve seen all season for a Liverpool away win!” said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Merseyside Derbies are usually feisty affairs and William Hill are offering odds of 2/1 that there is a red card shown during the game. Liverpool, who go into Sunday’s game behind Everton and in the relegation zone, are 4/6 to finish the season in a higher league position than their Merseyside rivals. Hills have also cut their odds from 4/1 to 7/2 that Liverpool take all six points from Everton this season, while the blue side of Liverpool is out from 6/1 to 9/1 to take maximum points in the two grudge games. ‘Bragging rights are particularly important to these fans this season and draws are not a lot of good to either side at the moment’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
