Downing Or Young – Who’ Ll Make More Impact ?

DOWNING OR YOUNG – WHO’LL MAKE MOST IMPACT AT NEW CLUB?

William Hill have opened a book asking whether Stewart Downing or Ashley Young will score the most Premier League goals and make the most Premier League starts next season for their new clubs. Hills make Young odds on to score more goals for Man U than Downing does for Liverpool, but Downing is odds-on to make more starts for Liverpool than Young will make for United. ‘These are two high profile players who will be under pressure to perform to an elevated level to justify their transfer fees’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills ARE BETTING ON WHICH OF THE TWO WILL LEAVE HIS NEW CLUB FIRST – AND MAKE DOWNING 8/11 TO GO BEFORE YOUNG, WHO IS EVEN MONEY TO DO VICE VERSA.
And with Liverpool steadily bringing more English players into their squad, Hills have opened a book on how many members of their first Premier League game starting line-up v Sunderland will be Englishmen – making 4-5 their 6/5 favourite.

Premier League goals match bet:

Stewart Downing 7/4
Tie 5/1
Ashley Young 4/6

Most Premier League starts:

Stewart Downing 10/11
Tie 7/1
Ashley Young 11/10

How Many English Players Will Start For Liverpool vs Sunderland:
3 or less 11/4
4-5 6/5
6-8 7/4
9-11 7/1

Will Torres Fans Be Singing The Blues Or Will Carroll Be On Song?

Fernando Torres has moved to Chelsea and Andy Carroll has arrived at Anfield to replace him. William Hill are offering 7/1 that both strikers net on their debuts for their new clubs. Andy Carroll has scored 11 goals this season and Hills are offering 11/4 that he manages to bag at least another eight before the end of the season and evens that he scores five or fewer goals for his new club. Torres is 6/5 to score six or less goals for Chelsea for the remainder of this season and 11/4 to score 11 or more.

“Torres and Carroll have dominated the headlines on transfer deadline day but the odds suggest that they may not be dominating the headlines as much come the following months,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Hills are offering 5/6 that Torres scores a quicker goal for Chelsea than Carroll does for Liverpool, while Carroll is the same price to score a faster goal than Torres. Torres is 6/4 to score against Liverpool on Sunday and Carroll is 6/4 to bag a goal against Newcastle on the 30th April.
