Nasri And Wenger Could Face Spell On The Touchlines: But You Bet A Fine Will Suffice

Arsene Wenger and Samir Nasri have been charged by UEFA following their comments made after the Barcelona game on Tuesday. William Hill are offering 6/4 that Nasri is on the receiving end of a fine but no ban and Wenger is 5/4 to receive the same punishment. Hills are offering 2/1 that Samir Nasri gets a two match ban, while Wenger is 7/4 to be sent to the stands for Arsenal’s next two European fixtures.

“Wenger and Nasri could potentially face a spell on the sidelines, however, the odds suggest that a fine will suffice for the UEFA bigwigs,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Wenger and Nasri Ban Prices:

Nasri: 4/1 No Action; 6/4 Fine, no ban; 10/3 1 match ban; 2/1 2 match ban; 9/1 3 or more match ban

Wenger: 5/1 No Action; 5/4 Fine, no ban; 9/4 1 match ban; 7/4 2 match ban; 9/1 3 or more matches ban

When Will First Prem League Player Come Out ?

WHEN WILL FIRST PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALLER ‘COME OUT’?

England cricketer Steven Davies and Wales rubgy player Gareth Thomas have both come out in public as gay. But no current Premier Leaguer footballer has ever done so.
Bookmakers William Hill have opened a book on when – or whether- that will happen.
‘Statistically it is very unlikely that there are currently no gay players in the Premier League’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe, ‘But the question of when any current player will be willing to reveal in public that he is gay is one which is causing much discussion. We believe that the perceived problems which may arise for any player who does so may act as a deterrent and therefore think it is odds-on NOT to happen before the end of next season at the earliest.
‘However, the positive reaction to Davies’ recent announcement may well act as an incentive for a Premier League footballer to decide that the time is now right for him to come out in public’

WILLIAM HILL…When will the first current Premier League player come out in public?:

DURING THIS SEASON…………………..6/1
DURING THE CLOSE SEASON…………9/2
2011/2012 SEASON………………………..7/2
AFTER 2011/2012 SEASON……………..4/7

That’s Not Your Lotti: Carlo Pressure Eased With Victory

Chelsea secured a vital home win against Manchester United and eased the somewhat considerable pressure on their manager, Carlo Ancelotti. He is priced at 4/1 (out from 7/2 before Utd game) with William Hill to be the next Premier League manager to leave their position. Their big money signing, Fernando Torres failed to score again, however and Hills are offering 10/1 that he fails to score in any of the next five games, although he is 4/7 to bag a goal against Blackpool on the 5th March. Chelsea are also in from 20/1 to 14/1 to win the Premier League although Manchester United are 8/13 favourites.

“Chelsea have got it all to do, but this result will undoubtedly boost confidence at Stamford Bridge and a belated title push may well be on the cards,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Premier League Odds:

Outright: 8/1 Manchester United; 13/8 Arsenal; 14/1 Chelsea; 40/1 Manchester City; 100/1 Tottenham

When Will Torres score for Chelsea:
4/7 Blackpool (a)
9/4 Copenhagen (h)
10/1 Manchester City (h)

Punters Kean On Steve To Go

William Hill punters have been Rovering around the country placing bets on Steve Kean to be the next Premier League boss to leave their club on the back of Blackburn’s 4-1 defeat at the weekend. The Rovers boss has been backed in from 50/1 to 6/1 to get the boot.

William Hill make no manager to go the 6/5 favourite in the sack race market ahead of 6/4 Avram Grant and 7/2 Carlo Ancelotti.

“Kean has been well backed over the course of the last few days as Blackburn slide toward the drop zone and it could well be Rover and out for Steve. A defeat for Chelsea tonight could spell the end of Ancelotti’s reign however,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Next Manager To Go Odds:

6/5 No manager to go; 6/4 Avram Grant; 7/2 Carlo Ancelotti; 6/1 Steve Kean (others on request)

Bookies Hail Gunners’ Multi Million Mix Up As Arsenal Odds On To Win Zilch – Again.

Arsenal odds-on to win nothing – again!
BOOKIES HAIL ARSENAL’S MULTI MILLION MIX-UP

THE Arsenal defensive mix-up which cost them the Carling Cup was worth £10 million to bookies. ‘We faced a seven figure payout had Arsenal gone on to win the Quadruple and as much again had they lifted the Carling Cup itself, so that defensive mix-up was a £10million bonus for the bookmaking industry’ said William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe.’Punters had plunged cash on Arsenal as though defeat was out of the question – but Alex McLeish – and Ben Foster – found the answer.’
AND HILLS NOW MAKE ARSENAL ODDS ON TO ENDURE YET ANOTHER SEASON WITH NO TROPHIES. Hills offer 8/15 that the Gunners will finish the season trophy-less once more, but quote them at 80/1 to win the three remaining trophies they are contesting.
ARSENE WENGER is 9/1 with Hills to cease to be Arsenal manager by the first day of next season, but 1/25 to remain in place. ‘Just how long will the Arsenal fans remain loyal to Arsene Wenger if his trophy-less run continues’ asked Hill’s spokesman Sharpe.
