Manchester City sneaked past Tottenham to secure Champions League football at Eastlands. William Hill are offering 14/1 that City go on to win next season’s Champions League although the odds suggest that they are more likely to be knocked out at the Group Stage stage, offered at 2/1. Roberto Mancini is 4/9 to still be in charge of City come the first game of next season.

“After the investment that has been put into City, they have reached Europe’s top table, but after tonight’s showing, they will need even more over the summer if they have any aspirations of reaching the latter stages of the Champions League,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
