City Slip Could Ultimately Cost Mancini His Job…ferdinand Vs. Terry Round Two…leeds Latest

Manchester City’s defeat to Everton has seen their lead at the top of the table wiped out and Roberto Mancini could find his job in danger if Manchester City fail to lift the trophy this season. William Hill make the City boss 11/4 to have left his position by the start of next season. Jose Mourinho could well be the replacement at the Etihad as he is the 13/8 favourite to be the next City manager.

Sir Alex Ferguson could also be on his way at the end of the season and Hills make him 11/4 to have left his position by the start of next season. Jose Mourinho is also the favourite to take over from Ferguson, with Hills making him 5/2 to be the next Red Devils manager.

“Jose Mourinho is up there as one of the best managers in the world and would be at the top of any elite club’s wish lists but it looks like Manchester will be his ultimate destination,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Manchester United take on Chelsea at the weekend and William Hill are offering 9/4 that Rio Ferdinand and John Terry do not shake hands (1/3 that they do). John Terry is 1/3 to captain England for their first match of Euro 2012, with Steven Gerrard the 4/1 second favourite and Rio Ferdinand 6/1.

Leeds have sacked Simon Grayson and William Hill make Alan Curbishley the 8/11 favourite to succeed him at Elland Road. Roberto Di Matteo is the 7/2 second favourite with John Shridan and Neil Redfearn both offered at 8/1.

WILLIAM HILL are betting on when winless-in-three Chelsea will next manage to come out on top in a match – and make them 8/1 not to do so in their next three games. ‘Chelsea currently face a mini crisis, but if they can’t win any of their next three it will become a full blown crisis’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
HILLS HAVE CUT THEIR ODDS FOR VILLAS-BOAS TO BE GONE BY 1ST GAME OF NEXT SEASON FROM 9/4 TO 7/4 – HE IS 2/5 STILL TO BE THERE.’Chelsea managers generally have a short shelf life if they don’t produce a trophy-winning season’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. NEWCASTLE’s stunning start to the Premier League season has seen manager Alan Pardew become a 10/1 shot to become LMA Manager of the Year with William Hill who make his striker Dember Ba 16/1 to end up top scorer in the division, and 11/4 to double his already impressive total of two Prem hat tricks before the season is out.
Newcastle now face a stern examination of their credentials as they face Everton, Man C, Man U and Chelsea in their next four matches and Hills offer 33/1 that they take 10 or more points from those games. ‘Now we will see whether Newcastle have reached these heights courtesy of the fixture list or belong their on merit. EDEN ON THE MOVE

WILLIAM HILL have opened a book on where sought after Lille midfielder Eden Hazard will end up when he leaves the club, probably at the end of this season – and make Chelsea 9/4 favourites to snap the Belgian up. ‘Arsenal are believed to covet M Eden but not everyone at Lille would like to see him end up at the Emirates, so they are only 7/2 second favourites in our market’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

You Bet: Cesc Will Be Fab For Barca And How Will Arsenal Do Without Their Talisman?

New Barcelona signing Cesc Fabregas is rated a 6/4 chance by William Hill to start more league games for Barcelona than the talismanic Xavi (1/2). The bookies are also offering odds of 10/1 for Fabregas to make more league appearances for the Blaugrana than his idol and current Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola (263).

“Fabregas has taken the number four, the same number that Guardiola wore at the Camp Nou and it will be interesting to see whether he surpasses the achievements of his once idol and current mentor,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

The former Arsenal captain is rated a 12/1 chance to score against the Gunners this season and the same price to play again for the North London club before the end of his career.

“Arsenal made Cesc into the player that he is today and it is feasible that he could well turn out for the Gunners again before the end of his career,” said Crilly.

Hills are also offering odds on Cesc’s number of league starts for Barcelona this season and the number of goals he’ll score for the defending champions this season.

With Cesc out of the door at the Emirates, Hills think that a mass exodus may have been sparked and offer 1/2 that Samir Nasri is sold before the end of the transfer window and 15/2 that Robin Van Persie is.

Arsenal have to take on Udinese without Fabregas now and William Hill have priced up where they will exit the Champions League. They are 5/2 to go out to the Italians and 9/4 to exit at the group stages. They are 20/1 to win the competition.
