Group C kicks off on Sunday with Italy 4/1 to defeat Euros holders Spain who are 8/11 for the three points and 4/7 to win the group. Hills are offering a goals match bet for the game tomorrow and make Torres 9/4 to outscore Mario Ballotelli with the Italian 16/5 to do likewise.

Republic of Ireland face a tough challenge in group C with Italy and Spain favoured to go through and they are the 13/5 outsiders to win their opening game against Croatia. ENGLAND VS FRANCE: BIGGEST MATCH OF THE GROUP STAGES FOR BOOKIES

William Hill are looking at the France/England game as being one of the biggest, in terms of betting turnover, in the whole tournament with over £15m industry wide set to be staked on the game. Over 200,000 bets will be placed over Hill’s shop counters alone on Monday and up to 20,000 bets will be placed on the outcome during the 90 minutes of the game.

“We think that this match could be the highest turnover game of the group stages,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
