History Making Premier League Weekend Defies Odds Of 486/1

Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle all scored which made it the first time in Premier League history that all 20 teams have scored in the Premier League and defied odds of 486/1 on William Hill’s ‘will both teams score’ coupon. Hills are offering odds of 16/1 that it happens again this season.

Chelsea failed to win once more and Hills are offering 7/1 that Chelsea fail to register three points before Christmas. They are 1/3 to defeat Everton next week, however. Ancelotti will be feeling the strain again and Hills are 9/4 that he has left his position by the opening game of next season. He is also 7/1 to be the next manager to go.

Roy Hodgson’s Liverpool managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and he is now 7/1 to be the next manager to leave their job. Avram Grant is the 10/11 favourite.

“It really was a fantastic weekend of football with upsets and plenty of goals. It may be a long time until we see another one like it,” said Hill’s spomkesman Joe Crilly.

Dire Night Of Football Brightened By Arsenal Loss…arsene 11/2 To Be Gone By Next Season

Arsenal lost tonight and Chelsea had to come from behind to win, in what were two very scrappy performances from British sides. Chelsea are the 11/8 favourites to progress furthest out of all the British teams with William Hill.

Arsenal, on the other hand, looked as though they had not recovered from their North London hangover and Hills now make them 7/2 to progress the furthest. Their odds of winning the Champions’ League have been eased from 10/1 to 12/1. Arsenal’s defeat saved bookies paying out a fair old wedge but should their current run of poor form continue, Arsene Wenger could find himself under pressure and Hills are offering 11/2 that he has left by the first game of next season. The Gunners are now level on points with tonight’s conquerors and Hills are offering 10/1 that Arsenal fail to qualify for the latter stages of the competition.

“It was a rather underwhelming evening of football but despite this, we are still smiling as Arsenal have saved us a small fortune. We may have numb bums, but we are still happy,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Champions’ League Odds:

Outright: 11/4 Real Madrid; 11/4 Barcelona; 4/1 Chelsea; 9/1 Man Utd; 12/1 Arsenal; 16/1 Bayern Munich; 20/1 Internazionale; 20/1 AC Milan; 25/1 Tottenham; 50/1 BAR

British Team To Progress The Furthest: 11/8 Chelsea; 21/10 Man Utd; 7/2 Arsenal; 6/1 Tottenham; 33/1 Rangers

Arsene Wenger To Still Be At Arsenal On First Day Of Next Season: 1/10 Yes; 11/2 No

DESPITE Liverpool’s victory over Blackburn, Roy Hodgson remains odds-on to be the next Premier League boss to leave his job with William Hill who make him a 4/6 chance to do so. ‘The Sunday papers were full of stories suggesting that Roy’s time is running out, so although the win is a step in the right direction he still seems to be under severe threat from the new owners’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

How Far Will Gunners Go In Europe ?

HOW FAR WILL GUNNERS GO IN EUROPE?

WITH ARSENE WENGER again talking up Arsenal’s Champions League prospects, William Hill are betting on how far they will get in this year’s tournament and believe they will struggle to get past the last 16, making that their 7/4 favourite to be the stage at which they are eliminated. ‘Arsene is very much an optimist, but we believe the Gunners will do well to get past the Last 16 stage and if they do they’ll probably exit at the Quarter Final stage’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills make Arsenal 2/9 to end the season with no major trophy to their credit at all yet again, and quote 500/1 that they will win all four major tournaments they are in, 22/1 that they win the Premier League – FA Cup double.

ARSENAL are 1/7 to win their Champions League Group with Hills who also offer 9/2 Shakhtar; 12 Braga; 40 Partizan B. They are 1/50 to qualify; 12/1 not to.

Prem Sack Race: Hughton Out Of Toon First …how Many Managers Will Bite The Bullet!

With the Premier League season just weeks away, William Hill are already speculating on which of the most endangered of species, Premiership managers, will be first to go. William Hill make Newcastle’s Chris Hughton the 4/1 favourite to bite the bullet, with big spending Man City 5/1 to give Roberto Mancini the elbow first. Elsewhere, Roberto Di Matteo is 11/2, Roberto Martinez 7/1 and Steve Bruce 8/1. The longest serving managers in the Premiership Ferguson and Wenger are both 66/1 outsiders and David Moyes is 40/1. No managers to get the sack all season is 40/1. Hills odds suggest that the season will see four or five manager casualities, is offered at 13/8.

“With the emergence of a big 7 in the Premiership, the pressure is on at both ends of the table, with points more important than ever in the hunt for glory. It could well be, that the pressure to win games becomes too much for some managers and there could be a few victims in the queue at the dole office by the end of the season,” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

William Hill: How Many Premiership Managers Will Leave Their Post Before End Of 2010/11 Season?: 14/1 None or One, 3/1 Two or Three, 13/8 Four or Five, 9/4 Six or seven, 11/2 Eight or more

First Premiership Manager To Get The Sack: 4/1 Chris Hughton; 5/1 Roberto Mancini; 11/2 Roberto Di Matteo; 7/1 Roberto Martinez; 8/1 Steve Bruce; 10/1 Ian Holloway; 14/1 Alex McCleish; 14/1 Sam Allardyce; 14/1 Mick McCarthy; 16/1 Martin O’Neill; 20/1 Next Permanent Fulham Manager; 20/1 Owen Coyle, 25/1 Avram Grant; 25/1 Tony Pulis; 28/1 Harry Redknapp; 28/1 Carlo Ancelotti; 28/1 Roy Hodgson; 40/1 No Manager To Go; 50/1 David Moyes; 66/1 Arsene Wenger; 66/1 Sir Alex Ferguson
