You Bet Bellamy And Rhodes Will Be Star Men On Wednesday

Scotland and Wales warm up for World Cup qualification with friendlies against Australia and Bosnia this week with Championship strikers, Jordan Rhodes and Craig Bellamy, offered at 9/2 by William Hill to both score.

“Craig Bellamy and Jordan Rhodes may both be plying their trade in the Championship but our punters only seem interested in backing those guys to grab the goals on Wednesday,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Wales and Bosnia are both 17/10 for the win with the draw at 21/10. Craig Bellamy is 9/2 to net first for Wales and 6/5 to score any time. Scotland are the 6/4 favourites to emerge triumphant against Australia with Jordan Rhodes 9/2 to get the first goal.

Both teams have been drawn in Group A of Europe’s World Cup Qualifying section although Brazil 2014 looks like a far stretch for both. It is 1/6 they both miss out on qualification, 7/2 one and 100/1 two. Scotland are 16/1 to win Group A with Wales 25/1. Former Celtic striker Scott McDonald is hoping to put in a good performance against the Scots to force his way in at club level and is 15/2 to open the scoring.
