Moyes Favourite For Spurs Job But Could ‘arry Move To Monaco?

David Moyes is 10/11 to be named as the next Spurs boss after Harry Redknapp left the club in the early hours of Thursday morning. William Hill make Moyes the favourite followed by Roberto Martinez at 7/4. With the uncertainty surrounding Rangers at the moment, Ally McCoist could be out of a job in the next few days and he has entered the betting at 25/1.

“David Moyes has performed fantastically over the last ten years at Everton, but will surely feel that he has the ability to make the step up,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

All eyes will turn to where the outgoing Spurs boss will turn up and he is 3/1 to take an international job and 6/1 to make a return to newly promoted West Ham. Having been linked with a move to the Middle East in the past, he is 7/1 to go to Al Ahly. Should he want to move a bit closer to Rosie ’47, he is 50/1 for his next job to be in charge of Monaco.

Redknapp enjoyed a fine rapport with many of his players and his departure could spell the end of Tottenham careers for a number of their big names. Luka Modric, already the subject of interest from Chelsea and Manchester United to no longer be a Spurs player come the start of next season, with Bale 10/3 to have gone and van der Vaart 6/4.

Spurs fans must surely be fearing the worst and Hills make them odds on to finish between 5th and 8th and out of the Champions League spots. Fourth place was not good enough for Spurs this year and they are 7/2 to finish in fourth.

Next Spurs Manager: 10/11 David Moyes; 7/4 Roberto Martinez; 6/1 Rafa Benitez; 6/1 Jurgen Klinsmann; 7/1 Fabio Capello; 10/1 Andre Villas-Boas; 16/1 Alan Pardew; 16/1 Gus Poyet; 16/1 Pep Guardiola; 16/1 Jose Mourinho; 16/1Tim Sherwood; 20/1 Martin O’Neill; 20/1 Sam Allardyce; 25/1 Ally McCoist; 25/1 Owen Coyle; 25/1 Dider Deschamps; 25/1 Carlo Ancelotti; 25/1 Laurent Blanc; 25/1 Martin Jol; 25/1 Guus Hiddink; 33/1 BAR

Players to leave Spurs (to still be there): 1/6 Modric (7/2 still be there); 6/4 Defoe (1/2); 6/4 Van Der Vaart (1/2); 10/3 Bale (1/5); 7/2 Walker (1/6); 9/2 Lennon (1/8); 9/2 Dawson (1/8); 7/1 Parker (1/16)

Spurs Finishing position: 9/2 1-3; 7/2 fourth; 4/7 5-8; 5/2 9-17; 250/1 relegation

7/4 Spurs Top Four finish

25/1 Spurs to win Premier League 2012/13

250/1 Spurs to be relegated 2012/13

Redknapp next Club: 3/1 International team; 6/1 West Ham; 7/1 Al Ahly; 10/1 Manchester United; 10/1 Newcastle; 12/1 Everton; 14/1 Arsenal; 16/1 Liverpool; 16/1 Manchester City; 20/1 Chelsea; 25/1 Portsmouth; 33/1 Bournemouth; 50/1 Monaco

Celtic 2/1 To Win The League This Weekend…7/1 Action Packed Old Firm

Celtic can win the title this weekend if they defeat Rangers at Ibrox and Motherwell fail to beat Kilmarnock. William Hill are offering 2/1 that Celtic lift the trophy on Sunday and they are 10/11 to win their match, while Motherwell are the 7/5 favourites to win their match at Killie. Hills are expecting a full blooded affair and offer 7/1 that both Celtic and Rangers score, a penalty is awarded AND a red card is shown.

“Rangers will be desperate to prevent their rivals from lifting the trophy at Ibrox, while Celtic would love nothing more than that,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “Both teams will be going all out for victory and this could be one of the feistiest Old Firm games in years.”

Mccoist 7/2 Fav To Be Next Spl Boss To Go!

Ally McCoist was hamstrung in his attempts to sign a striker to replace the departed Nikica Jelavic and William Hill make the Rangers boss 7/2 favourite to be the fourth SPL boss to leave his job. Paulo Sergio is 5/1 with Jim McIntyre the 7/1 third favourite.

“If Rangers lose any more ground at the top of the SPL, Ally could be given the boot, but with his hands having been tied by the restrictions he is working under, he could decide to walk away of his own volition,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
