“If Rangers lose any more ground at the top of the SPL, Ally could be given the boot, but with his hands having been tied by the restrictions he is working under, he could decide to walk away of his own volition,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Mcinnes Fav For Hearts Hot Seat

Amidst reports that Jim Jefferies has left Hearts, William Hill have reopened their next manager to go market and make Colin Calderwood the 10/11 favourite, followed by Terry Butcher at 4/1. Derek McInnes and Kenny Shiels are both 9/1.

“Punters have been taken by surprise by this reported decision as Jefferies was a 10/1 chance to be the first SPL boss to go this season,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Following the shock departure, St Johnstone Manager, Derek McInnes has been installed as the 9/2 favourite to be next in the hot seat. It’s a very open book with Mark McGhee at 5/1 and Paul Hartley 11/2. Jeffries was 10/1 to be the first manager to go in the SPL.
