Sunday Stroll For Chelsea And City

The European champions and Premier League champions kick off their Premier League campaign on Sunday. Both are odds on favourites to win with Chelsea 4/6 and Manchester City 1/5 and both are expected to cruise to victory with William Hill offering 13/1 that Chelsea and Manchester City win by 3 or more goals. The City game against Southampton is 4/6 to produce the most goals on Super Sunday, with Wigan vs Chelsea 9/4.

Victor Moses has been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer and will be 11/1 to score first against his potential suitors. City To Start Season Where They Left Off…..lifting Silverware

Manchester City take on Chelsea in the traditional season curtain raiser – the Community Shield and William Hill make the League Champions 4/6 to lift the trophy and 13/10 to win in 90 minutes. Chelsea are 11/10 to lift the trophy.

“The season’s curtain raiser is often a good indicator as to who will go on to dominate throughout the course of the season and if you think Manchester City will win the double, this is a good time to get 2/1 about them winning the league,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Robin van Persie is 6/4 to start Manchester United’s first game of the season amidst talk that Wayne Rooney has told him to join him at Old Trafford, while Manchester City also appear to be closing in on their latest big money signing.
