Lucky Weekend For William Hill Football Punters

There will have been one very nervous William Hill punter watching as Newcastle defeated Stoke on Monday evening and landed a £25,000 accumulator. The 44 year old from Margate was hoping for a Newcastle win at 5/2 in order to bring home a 12 team accumulator staked on William Hill online. All of the other selections came in on Saturday and included Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Rangers.

“This punter, who only ever bets between one and ten pounds each weekend on the football will have had his nerves calmed as Demba Ba smashed home a hat-trick to land £24,953.77 from just a five pound stake,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

It seems that the football luck was contagious this weekend as two other punters landed big money accumulators from relatively small stakes. One shop punter from the Romford area bagged £20,592.23 from a £3 accumulator while a shop punter from central Glasgow landed a seven team, £5 accumulator that paid out £11,535.33.

“We have had three winners this weekend winning life changing sums of money,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

The three winning accumulators:
