Celtic 2/1 To Win The League This Weekend…7/1 Action Packed Old Firm

Celtic can win the title this weekend if they defeat Rangers at Ibrox and Motherwell fail to beat Kilmarnock. William Hill are offering 2/1 that Celtic lift the trophy on Sunday and they are 10/11 to win their match, while Motherwell are the 7/5 favourites to win their match at Killie. Hills are expecting a full blooded affair and offer 7/1 that both Celtic and Rangers score, a penalty is awarded AND a red card is shown.

“Rangers will be desperate to prevent their rivals from lifting the trophy at Ibrox, while Celtic would love nothing more than that,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “Both teams will be going all out for victory and this could be one of the feistiest Old Firm games in years.”

New Spl Season…latest Odds

The start of the new Scottish Premier League is upon us and William Hill cannot split the Old Firm clubs offering 5/6 for both sides to win this year’s SPL title. Hearts appear to be in pole position for the ‘best of the rest’ honours offered at 5/4 in the SPL without Old Firm sides followed by Dundee Utd at 10/30. At the other end of the table, newly promoted Dunfermline are the 5/2 favourites to finish bottom of the league with St Mirren 3/1.

Rangers striker Nickica Jelavic is the 3/1 joint favourite to win the SPL golden boot with Gary Hooper, with Celtic’s Anthony Stokes and Dundee Utd’s David Goodwillie 8/1.

There is a three way tie at the top of the SPL sack race, with Hearts’ Jim Jeffries, St Johnstone’s Derek McInnes and Kilmarnock’s Kenny Shiels all seemingly in the firing line as 4/1 joint favourites.

“The football season kicks off early this season, easing the anguish of a tournament free summer and we have a number of bets to keep every SPL punter involved until the final day,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Scottish Premier League Outright: 5/6 Rangers; 5/6 Celtic; 50/1 Hearts; 100/1 Dundee Utd; 200/1 Aberdeen; 250/1 Hibernian; 250/1 Motherwell; 500/1 Kilmarnock; 500/1 Inverness CT; 1000/1 Dunfermline; 1000/1 St Johnstone; 1000/1 St Mirren
