Villas-boas Singing The Blues As Chelsea Lose Again

Chelsea’s woes continued as they lost at home and William Hill make Andre Villas Boas just 6/5 to have left his position as Chelsea boss by the first game of next season (8/13 to still be there). Villas-Boas is now 9/1 to be the first manager to leave his position.

Chelsea’s defensive issues were highlighted once more and they have now failed to keep a clean sheet at home since April. They are 25/1 to fail to keep a home clean sheet in the next five matches.

“Chelsea found themselves in a funk like this during last season and it ultimately cost Carlo Ancelotti his job and should this poor run of form continue, then Villas-Boas could be in the same position come the start of next season,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Martinez 2nd Fav To Be Next Boss Out

MARTINEZ OUT’ ODDS COLLAPSE

Roberto Martinez has been backed from 16/1 to 2/1 second favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his club with William Hill who make Steve Kean 11/10 favourite with Steve Bruce at 11/4; Mick McCarthy 5/1; Owen Coyle 6/1. ‘Given Martinez’ decision to stay with Wigan rather than go to Villa last season we have never felt he was under much pressure despite adverse results, but of course, it is always possible that he may decide to walk away should results not improve soon’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe, ‘So when punters began to back him to be the next boss to go we had to act.’
HILLS MAKE MARTINEZ 5/6 TO BE WIGAN BOSS ON THE FIRST DAY OF NEXT SEASON, 5/6 NOT TO.

NEW Doncaster signing El Hadji-Diouf is 2/1 with William Hill to be sent off during his three month stint at the club. (Bets run until Jan 31, 2012 and are for 1st team competitive games only)

Quinn Quits – You Bet Bruce Next

QUINN QUITS – WILL BRUCE BE NEXT?

WITH Niall Quinn quitting as Sunderland chairman, William Hill have halved their odds for Steve Bruce to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job, from 4/1 to 2/1 second favourite, with only Steve Kean of Blackburn rated more likely, at 4/9 favourite. ‘Niall Quinn’s departure from the post probably leaves Steve Bruce without an important boardroom ally and with results not exactly setting the division alight, the manager suddenly looks more vulnerable’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
