Connor Already Odds On To Be Thrown To The Wolves By Next Season!

Wolves have today announced Terry Connor as their manager until the end of the season but whether Wolves stay up or go down (5/4 stay up / 4/7 relegation), William Hill are odds on at 8/11 that he is not in charge on the first day of next season (Even money to still be there). A new manager can often galvanise a push up the table but Hills offer 50/1 that they finish in the top half of the table, 9/2 11th – 14th and 2/1 15th – 17th.

Wolves are 5/1 to win Connor’s first match in charge and are 8/1 to finish the weekend at the foot of the table. Wigan are the 4/9 favourites, with Bolton 5/2, Blackburn 10/1 and QPR 25/1.

“We feel that Connor may well be in a lose/lose situation. Should he keep Wolves up, he may have to make way for a more experienced man and should they go down, he may have to leave for not being good enough,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Bridge Beginning To Bend Under Weight Of Expectation
