20/1 UNITED TO STAY UNBEATEN ALL SEASON IN PREM

MANCHESTER UNITED are now 7/4 title favourite with William Hill who make them 20/1 to remain undefeated all season in the Premier League, and 3/1 to win the title with Chelsea finishing runners-up. And they are Evens favourites to have gone top of the table when the current round of matches is completed on Monday. ‘Although Arsenal are currently top of the table we don’t expect them to stay there for long – and punters are still not convinced by their title claims, hence they remain just third favourites to win the title’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

WHAT A GLOVELY BET!

WITH BOSS Ian Holloway revealing his dislike of the trend for players to wear gloves, William Hill have opened a book on how many of his players will turn out for kick off of their game with Manchester United this weekend sporting the hand-wear. ‘Ian is unashamedly old-scholl and he is no fan of players wearing gloves – but we reckon a few of his players may defy their boss and wear them for the United game’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

City Favourites For Europa After Easy Victory…tractor Boys Ease Pressure On Keane

Manchester City had an easy victory tonight and in the process secured their route into the knock-out stages of the Europa Cup. William Hill make them 9/2 favourites to win the competition. They are also 8/11 to get further in the competition than the only other English side left, Liverpool. The Reds are 2/1 to outdo City.

We now have our four semi finalists for the Carling Cup and who would have thought that Ipswich would reach that round? The Tractor Boys have eased some of the immediate pressure on their manager, Roy Keane by getting that far and his odds to still be there at the start of next season have shortened from 7/2 to 3/1. Ipswich are 12/1 outsiders to win the competition made all the tougher by the fact that they have Arsenal in the next round. The Gunners are 4/7 to win the final at Wembley.

William Hill Odds:

Carling Cup Outright: 4/7 Arsenal; 7/2 Birmingham; 4/1 West Ham; 12/1 Ipswich

Europa Outright: 9/2 Man City; 9/1 Liverpool; 11/1 Porto; 12/1 CSKA Moscow; 12/1 Zenit St Petersburg; 16/1 Bayer Leverkusen; 16/1 Sevilla; 20/1 Atletico Madrid; 20/1 Villarreal; 25/1 Stuttgart; 25/1 Dortmund; 33/1 BAR

Liverpool/Manchester City Match Bet (Who Will Go Further?): 8/11 Man City; 2/1 Liverpool; 7/2 Tie

The undoubted tie of the round sees Liverpool head to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United, for which the Red Devils are te 8/13 favourites. Liverpool are 7/2 and the draw is priced at 5/2.

“FA Cup Third Round weekend is our biggest in terms of FA Cup turnover and we certainly have some mouthwatering ties that will pique the public’s interest, not least at Old Trafford,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

You Bet United Will Remain Unbeaten Until Christmas

William Hill are offering 5/2 that Manchester United remain unbeaten until Christmas. Their next fixture this season sees the Red Devils take on Blackburn at Old Trafford and Hills are offering 10/1 that they avoid defeat. They are 20/1 to go the whole season without being beaten. Wayne Rooney will be hoping to string together a run of goals after netting his second goal of the season from the spot against Rangers. Hills are offering 5/1 that he notches his third of the season from the spot. He is odds on, at 4/7 to add to his account with a shot from inside the area.

“Fergie will certainly claim to be focusing all of his attentions on the next game, but he will surely be keeping half an eye on chasing down the record held by Wenger’s unbeatables,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Last weekend was remarkable for the amount of red cards and Hills are offering 10/11 that two or more cards are shown this weekend.

Man Utd are the 6/1 favourites to score the fastest goal this weekend while the North-West derby between Bolton and Blackpool is 7/2 to see the most goals.

‘woy’ Eases Pressure On Himself But Avram Looks As Good As Gone

West Ham lost heavily to Liverpool and are the 15/8 favourites at William Hill to finish bottom of the Premier league and are 4/7 to get relegated. Wolves, who also lost again today, and they are 8/13 to be playing Championship football next season.

In a battle between two of the Premier League’s under fire managers, Roy Hodgson managed to ease some of the pressure, however, Avram Grant looks decidedly unsteady as he tip toes across the knife edge. Grant Hill’s 11/8 favourite to be the next manager to leave their position, while Roy Hodgson is the 5/1 third favourite. Sandwiched in between is Manchester City’s Roberto Mancini at 2/1.

“Things are not looking good for Avram and it appears that he may be just one game from signing up for jobseekers,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Despite Chelsea’s second defeat in a row, they are still the 11/10 favourites to win this year’s Premier League ahead of 9/4 Manchester United. Arsenal, who also lost today are the 4/1 third favourites.

Hughes Laughing Now: 2/1 City Fail To Score Once More

Sunday’s big game sees Mark Hughes facing his former cohorts with current team, Fulham. Hughes was sacked by Manchester City just over a year ago, with his City side leading the Premier League in draws. His Fulham team are in the exact same position this season and William Hill are offering 21/10 that Sunday’s match ends in a stalemate. With tempers likely to flare, Hughes is 33/1 to get sent to the stands.

City have failed to score in their last three Premiership games and Hills are offering 2/1 that they fail to do so once more at Craven Cottage. Should City score, it will most likely be Carlos Tevez who gets on the score sheet, having score seven of 15 goals. He is priced at 5/1 to score two or more goals with Hills.

“Mark Hughes will be desperate to get one over on his former employers but the odds certainly do not point to a classic. The most exciting action may possibly be seen on the sidelines,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Sunday Football Odds:

11/8 Blackburn; 21/10 Aston Villa; 21/10 Draw
21/10 Fulham; 7/5 Man City; 21/10 Draw

33/1 Mark Hughes gets sent to the stand

WITH Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina hinting that he may not stay at Liverpool beyond the end of this season, William Hill have opened a book on where he will be playing on the first day of the 2011/12 season, and make Barcelona his most likely new club if he has moved on from Liverpool by then. ‘Reina has been one of Liverpool’s most consistent players of recent seasons and they will struggle to replace him with an equally reliable keeper, should he decide to leave’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Barton Odds On For Retrospective Ban…while Olly Had Better Clear His Desk

Joey Barton is odds on to receive a three match ban for punching Morten-Gamst Pedersen in the chest. William Hill are offering 1/4 that his punishment stretches for three matches and for Joey to receive no ban is priced at 8/1. Flouting the laws of the game seemed to be the order of the day on Wednesday when Ian Holloway made ten changes to his side that faced Aston Villa. Olly has claimed that he will quit if he gets a fine and Hills reckon he may do well to start clearing his desk now with 8/13 offered that he receives a fine of some sort from the FA and 6/5 that he does not.

“Joey Barton is no stranger to controversy and would it appear that the FA may decide to step in and hand the midfielder a ban,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Joey Barton’s team-mate, Andy Carroll, has been the subject of much praise recently and William Hill are offering 1/2 that he earns his first England cap against France on the 17th November.

Hills have also opened a market on who will be in the top two come the end of the season and make Chelsea followed by Man Utd, the 2/1 favourite while Chelsea/Arsenal is the 3/1 second favourite.
