Goldenballs Beck To England But Tevez Could Be Off…

David Beckham’s contract with LA Galaxy is due to run out in November and William Hill think that his next contract will be in England offering 8/13 that he returns to these shores. With reported interest from PSG, Hills make France the 4/1 second favourite while he is 5/1 to stay in the US. Recent reports have suggested that Manchester United may be lining Becks up for a Sporting Director’s role and Hills make him 12/1 to fill that role before the end of 2012.

“Becks has never hidden the fact that he would love to return to Manchester United and while he may not be able to bend it as much as he used to, there may well be a seat with his name on in the upper echelons of Old Trafford,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

With Carlos Tevez coming back off his suspension, William Hill do not hold out much hope of him staying put for too long and Hills are offering odds on who he will join next. He is 11/4 to move to Juventus and 4/1 to join Corinthians.

William Hill think that Wayne Rooney will only miss one match of the European Championships following his red card against Montenegro. He is offered at 2/5 for his ban to be set at one game, while he is 7/4 to be the recipient of at least a two game suspension.

Where will Beckham’s next contract be: 8/13 England; 4/1 France; 5/1 USA; 7/1 Italy; 16/1 UAE; 20/1 Scotland; 25/1 Brazil; 25/1 Qatar; 50/1 (*includes any coaching role **Bets void if no contract signed by the end of 2013)

Beckham to be officially appointed Manchester United’s Sporting Director before the end of 2012: 12/1

Carlos Tevez next club: 11/4 Juventus; 4/1 Corinthians; 6/1 AC Milan; 6/1 Inter Milan; 7/1 Real Madrid; 8/1 PSG; 10/1 Boca Juniors; 12/1 Napoli; 16/1 Chelsea; 16/1 West Ham; 20/1 Arsenal; 20/1 Barcelona

Wayne Rooney Ban Length: 2/5 one match; 7/4 two or more matches (pertains to red card vs Montenegro)

Nottingham Forest next manager: 8/11 Steve Cotterill; 5/2 Mark Robins; 4/1 Kevin MacDonald; 9/2 Roy Keane; 8/1 John Pemberton; 10/1 Nigel Clough; 20/1 BAR

Republic of Ireland to qualify for Euro 2012: 5/6 yes; 5/6 no

Rooney Backed For Two Match Ban As Robins 5th Runner To Be Forest Favourite

ROONEY BACKED TO GET TWO MATCH+ EURO BAN

WILLIAM HILL have cut their odds for Wayne Rooney to be banned for two games or more following his sending off against Montenegro from 11/4 to 7/4. ‘We haven’t taken any particularly hefty individual bets but the overwhelming majority of those we have taken are for an extended suspension’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills now offer 2/5 that he will be banned for just the one game.

FIFTH FOREST FAVOURITE

MARK ROBINS is the fifth contender to become favourite to succeed Steve McClaren as Forest manager with William Hil who make the former Barnsley boss 2/1 to take over, ahead of 9/4 second favourite Steve Cotterill; 5/2 Roy Keane; 7/2 Nigel Clough; 11/2 Kevin MacDonald; 9/1 John Pemberton.
‘As seems to be par for the course with so many such markets, the Forest managerial merry-go-round has been a volatile one and you wouldn’t be over surprised if there were another five favourites before the issue is finally resolved’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Punters Keane To Back Roy For Forest

PUNTERS KEANE TO BACK ROY FOR FOREST

William Hill have suspended their market for who will be the next Nottingham Forest manager after taking a bet of £5000 on Roy Keane at odds of 2/1, shortening him to Even money but continuing to be asked for hefty wagers at that price.

“There have been a number of well backed contenders to succeed Steve McClaren such as Karl Robinson, Billy Davies and Alan Shearer but after seeing a string of bets of up to £5000 for Roy Keane with little support for anybody else, we have decided to suspend the market in case an appointment is imminent”, said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

You Bet Forest Will Go For Rookie Robbo

FOREST 11/2 TO GO DOWN, 20/1TO GO UP

MANAGER-less Nottingham Forest could move for MK Dons’ boss Karl Robinson to succeed Steve McClaren, believe bookmakers William Hill who have installed the young manager as 15/8 favourite to become the next Forest supremo. ‘Robinson is a very young manager who has made a positive impression in his time at MK Dons and punters believe he is a leading candidate to move on to Forest even though he is still comparatively inexperienced’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe, ‘However, this is still an evolving market with no substantial bets yet being staked so it appears likely that the club has yet to identify its favoured contenders’

WHEN WILL A WOMAN REF IN PREMIER LEAGUE?

WILLIAM HILL have opened a book on when the a Premier League will first be refereed by a woman, and make 2015 or later their odds-on favourite at 10/11.’The current row over sexist comments about a female referee’s assistant will no doubt produce glib assurances that women will eventually referee at the highest level of the game, which will then be quietly forgotten about by the authorities’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Is Martin Off On His Jol-ies To The North West Or Will Alan Curb His Enthusiasm?

Despite the Venky’s Group maintaining that they want to appoint an English manager to replace Sam Allardyce at Blackburn, it is Dutchman Martin Jol who heads the betting at William Hill at 4/1. He is then followed by a veritable army of British and Irish managers, with Dave Jones and Chris Hughton both 5/1 and Alan Curbishley at 6/1.

“Martin Jol performed well during his time at Tottenham and he is currently out of a job, however, should the fact that he is not British count against him, Dave Jones, Chris Hughton and Alan Curbishley are all waiting in the wings,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill Next Blackburn Manager:

City Favourites For Europa After Easy Victory…tractor Boys Ease Pressure On Keane

Manchester City had an easy victory tonight and in the process secured their route into the knock-out stages of the Europa Cup. William Hill make them 9/2 favourites to win the competition. They are also 8/11 to get further in the competition than the only other English side left, Liverpool. The Reds are 2/1 to outdo City.

We now have our four semi finalists for the Carling Cup and who would have thought that Ipswich would reach that round? The Tractor Boys have eased some of the immediate pressure on their manager, Roy Keane by getting that far and his odds to still be there at the start of next season have shortened from 7/2 to 3/1. Ipswich are 12/1 outsiders to win the competition made all the tougher by the fact that they have Arsenal in the next round. The Gunners are 4/7 to win the final at Wembley.

William Hill Odds:

Carling Cup Outright: 4/7 Arsenal; 7/2 Birmingham; 4/1 West Ham; 12/1 Ipswich

£2 Punter Wins Big On Hammers Hammering United

Although plenty of people would have been expecting Arsenal to triumph against Wigan tonight, not many people were expecting West Ham to win and even fewer predicted 4-0 – with the biggest bet placed being £2 at William Hill, with odds of 125/1. Hills are offering 5/2 that tonight’s victors meet each other in the final with Arsenal the 8/11 favourites to win the tournament and West Ham 9/2.

“Upton Park was bouncing tonight, not least in the seat that housed the loyal Hammer who placed £2 at 125/1 on 4-0. There was not many people who risked even £1 on such an unlikely outcome,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Ipswich are the only non-Premier League side left but even that may not be able to save Roy Keane’s job should they be humiliated tomorrow against West Brom. Hills are offering 4/1 that Keano leaves his job between the end of the West Brom game and the start of the Swansea game.

William Hill Carling Cup Odds:
