You Bet Manchester Top Guns To Shoot Down Opposition

In their last Premier League games, the Manchester sides racked up 13 goals between them and despite coming up against, arguably, weaker opposition this weekend Hills offer 33/1 that they net 14 or more. The favourite is 4-6 goals at 11/10. Both sides are comfortable favourites to win their respective games with United 4/9 to beat Bolton and City 1/5 to beat Wigan. City are also 4/5 to be top of the Premier League come Monday evening, with Manchester United breathing down their necks at 11/8. Chelsea are the third favourites at 10/1. With Rooney and Dzeko both bagging hat tricks last time out, Hills offer 4/1 that there is a Premier League hat trick this weekend.

“The start of the season has all been about Manchester and they are scoring for fun,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “We don’t, however think that they will be quite as emphatic as they were before the international break.”

WHO’LL BE FIRST OF BIG FIVE BOSSES TO GO?
WITH pressures facing all five of the leading Premier League bosses, William Hill have opened a book on which of them will be the first to depart his club and have installed Arsene Wenger as the 5/4 favourite, with Kenny Dalglish the 8/1 outsider. ‘For different reasons each of the bosses could find themselves leaving sooner than expected, and likewise it would be no great surprise if they were all still around in three years or more, but we feel Arsene is currently under the greatest pressure’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

WHO WILL SUCCEED ARSENE WHEN HE GOES?
WITH Arsene Wenger’s reign as Arsenal boss appearing to be under threat, William Hill have opened a book on who will succeed him, and have installed Martin O’Neill as 9/2 favourite. ‘We still believe Arsene will at least see out the season, and make him odds-on to do so, but should Arsenal’s results deteriorate badly the job could well become available very much more quickly’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

CHELSEA’S STRIKING CONTEST

With Chelsea’s new boss Villas-Boas bringing in new attacking options and Torres still yet to return to his prolific striking ways, William Hill have opened a book on who will top score in Premier League games for the Stamford Bridge side this season. ‘The striking positions in the Chelsea side seem to be up for grabs and any one of seven or eight players would appear to be in with a chance of being the club’s top scorer this season.’ Said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.’Torres is the obvious favourite, but he is showing few signs of recapturing his old form’

Wenger 3rd Fav For Chop + Weekend Prem Specials

********************************WILLIAM HILL WEEEKEND PREMIER LEAGUE SPECIALS************************************************

ARSENE WENGER THIRD FAVOURITE FOR CHOP

Following the takeover at QPR, William Hill have lengthened their odds about Neil Warnock being the next Premier League manager to leave his club from Even money favourite to 11/4 second favourite. ‘The takeover appears to have strengthened Warnock’s position in the short term, but many more results like their opening 0-4 home defeat would see his odds plunge again’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. Hills now make Blackburn boss, Stee Kean, their 7/4 favourite to be the next boss out but after further support for Arsene Wenger to be the next boss to go, incuding one of £200 at 9/1, he has been cut to 6/1 joint third favourite. ‘Arsene was a 33/1 shot pre-season to be the first Premier League boss to go but has been steadily backed to the point where he is now by some distance our worst potential result in this market’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
*Hills now offer 10/3 that Wenger will be gone before the end of the season, 1/5 that he is still in place.

Europa League Specials As Europe’s Second Competition Set To Kick Off

The Europa League first round kicks off on Thursday and William Hill make Tottenham the favourites of all the British sides taking part this year to progress the furthest. They are 9/4 ahead of Fulham at 3/1 and Stoke 7/2. Spurs look as though they are the most likely British side to lift the trophy offered at 14/1.

Hearts face a difficult challenge against Harry Redknapp’s men in the ‘Battle of Brtain’ with the Jambos 1/12 to fail to qualify from their playoff match. Hills offer 5/6 that both Rangers and Celtic qualify for the group stage and 25/1 that all three Scottish sides progress. Hills go 9/2 about all of the English sides progressing.

“It would appear that the English sides have the upper hand over the Scottish in this year’s competition, but Rangers and Celtic could give the boys from South of the border a run for their money,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

PUNTERS’ PICKS FOR TITLE/RELEGATION……..ARSENE’S FUTURE

PUNTERS TIP LIVERPOOL FOR THE TITLE – BLACKBURN , NEWCASTLE AND VILLA FOR DROP

WILLIAM HILL have analysed bets struck on the Premier League title and relegation races so far, and discovered that Liverpool have accounted for almost 40% of bets struck so far on the title, and Blackburn Rovers have attracted the greatest percentage of relegation bets taken thus far – 20.43%.
‘The two lists – derived from bets struck online, although they are closely mirrored by our shop bets- show an intriguing and striking convergence from the betting odds – Liverpool are only 10/1 fifth favourites for the title in our outright odds, while Blackburn are 3/1 sixth favourites for the drop – Villa, third best backed to go down, are actually joint seventh favourites to win the title, while Norwich, 7th best backed for the title are second favourites to be relegated!’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
‘It will be fascinating to look back with hindsight, and see whether the bookies or the punters have got it right.’

BEGINNING OF END FOR ARSENE?

ARSENE WENGER has been cut from 33/1 to 10/1 joint fourth favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his club as he appeared to be facing the loss of both Fabregas and Nasri from his squad. Hills make him 1/6 to see out of the season, 7/2 not to. ‘Should the Gunners get off to a slow start pressure will mount inexorably on Arsene Wenger, in which circumstances it is not impossible to envisage an end to his reign at Arsenal.’ Said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
