ROBIN VAN PERSIE has scored in four consecutive Premier League games – and Hills offer 10/1 he will do so in the next four he starts. His odds have collapsed from an early season 20/1 to 7/4 favourite to be Premier League top scorer. He is 10/11 to score against Norwich at the weekend, 7/2 to get the first goal of the game, 7/2 the last, 4/1 to score two or more and 20/1 to grab a hat trick. ‘RVP has been in red hot form but the worry for the Gunners is whether his injury jinx will strike again’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

WITH under pressure bosses Roberto Martinez and Steve Kean facing each other as Wigan entertain Blackburn at the weekend, William Hill are offering 8/1 that Martinez will no longer be manager of Wigan by midnight on Saturday and 7/1 that Kean is no longer manager of Blackburn Rovers by midnight on Saturday: 7/1.Hills also offer 71/1 both to be gone by midnight on Saturday.

Lucky Weekend For William Hill Football Punters

There will have been one very nervous William Hill punter watching as Newcastle defeated Stoke on Monday evening and landed a £25,000 accumulator. The 44 year old from Margate was hoping for a Newcastle win at 5/2 in order to bring home a 12 team accumulator staked on William Hill online. All of the other selections came in on Saturday and included Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Rangers.

“This punter, who only ever bets between one and ten pounds each weekend on the football will have had his nerves calmed as Demba Ba smashed home a hat-trick to land £24,953.77 from just a five pound stake,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

It seems that the football luck was contagious this weekend as two other punters landed big money accumulators from relatively small stakes. One shop punter from the Romford area bagged £20,592.23 from a £3 accumulator while a shop punter from central Glasgow landed a seven team, £5 accumulator that paid out £11,535.33.

“We have had three winners this weekend winning life changing sums of money,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

The three winning accumulators:

…William Hill Wednesday Champions League Latest…

Manchester United are expected to win comfortably when they host Romanian minnows FC Otelul Galati and Hills make them 1/12 to secure victory. The two sides have only ever met once before, when they played each other two weeks ago at the Otelul Stadium. United ran out 2-0 winners and Hills go 5/1 about that scoreline being repeated.

Manchester are 1/2 to win to nil and Hills offer 8/5 that Utd score four or more.

Europa League Specials…rooney Vs. Aguero

Tottenham are the 5/4 favourites to be the British side to progress furthest in this year’s Europa League. Stoke have been impressive in this year’s competition and Hills make them 9/4 second favourites while Fulham are 11/4.

Two British sides (Birmingham and Celtic) are odds on (at 4/11 and 1/8) to fail to make it out of the Group Stage. Spurs appear most likely to be knocked out of the competition at the round of 16 (11/4) along with Stoke (14/5), while Fulham are 11/8 to go out at the round of 32 stage.

Wayne Rooney and Sergio Aguero both got on the Champions League scoresheet ahead of the Manchester derby on Sunday and William Hill make the England striker the 2/1 slight favourite to outscore his Argentinean compatriot. United are 10/11 favourites to win the match at Old Trafford with City 5/2 and the draw 23/10.

“It is likely to be a close match on Sunday and neither team will be wanting to lose their unbeaten record, let alone to their bitterest rivals and it may well take a moment of magic from the two sides’ leading scorers,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.
