Balotelli 4/1 To Be Suspended This Season-City Odds On For Top Two!
Mario Balotelli’s behavior continues to astound and Hills are offering 4/1 that his club suspend him at any point this year. He is 7/4 to start twelve or fewer games for the club, 5/4 to score six or less goals and 11/4 to be shown two or more red cards. Despite Balotelli’s antics, punters are piling in on Manchester City becoming the new power house of the Premiership and they are 8/13 to finish the season in either first or second place. Arsenal, on the other hand, continue to be friendless and they are 11/8 to finish between 5th and 10th.

“Nobody is disputing Balotelli’s talent but he comes with a fair amount of baggage and it would be no great surprise if City gave up on their man. That said, his antics are not putting off punters lumping on City to finish in the top two this season!” said Hill’s spokesman Rupert Adams.

William Hill Specials:
Balotelli league starts: 7/4 Twelve or less, 3/1 – 13-16, 7/2 – 17-20, 9/4 – 21+.
Balotelli league goals: 5/4 Six or less, 11/5 – 7-10, 7/4 – 11+.
Balotelli league red cards: 1/2 – none, 4/1 – one, 11/4 – two or more
Balotelli suspended by Man City this season: 1/7 no, 4/1 yes.

Manchester City finishing position: 8/13 – 1st-2nd, 11/4 – 3rd, 4/1 – 4th, 4/1 – 5th-10th, 33/1 – 11th-17th, 1000/1 relegated.

Arsenal finishing position: 5/2 – 1st-2nd, 4/1 – 3rd, 11/4 – 4th, 11/8 – 5th-10th, 16/1 – 11th-17th, 500/1 relegated.

Hills are also offering 6/4 that Cesc Fabregas is the first of the four to go, while Carlos Tevez is 13/8 to do so. It would appear that Arsenal have more hope of keeping Nasri than Fabregas and he is offered at 10/3 to be the first of the four to go, while Modric is 6/1.

“With no lack of interest in the four players, it could well be that all four have moved on by the end of August,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Who will go first: 6/4 Fabregas; 13/8 Tevez; 10/3 Nasri; 6/1 Modric

All four to have changed clubs by the end of the transfer window (August 31st 2011): 9/2 yes; 1/8 no

You Bet Tevez U-turn…fab Number Of Starts

Corinthians have pulled out of a deal to sign Carlos Tevez at the last minute and William Hill now make him 2/1 to join ANY English club after he leaves Manchester City. He is 5/2 to join any South American side and 4/1 to join Real Madrid. Juventus are 6/1 and Inter Milan 7/1.

“In a real U-Turn, it now appears more likely that Tevez will stay in England than go anywhere else when he inevitably leaves City although in terms of specific clubs, it appears that Real Madrid lead the race for the want away striker,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Carlos Tevez Next Club: 2/1 English; 5/2 South American Club; 4/1 Real Madrid; 6/1 Juventus; 7/1 Inter Milan; 20/1 AC Milan; 20/1 Malaga; 25/1 MLS Club; 25/1 Barcelona

FABREGAS GAMES STARTING AT BARCA

With Barcelona and Arsenal undertaking a tentative dialogue over the future of Cesc Fabregas, William Hill are offering odds on how many games he will start for the Catalan giants. He is 5/2 to start between 16 to 20 games, 9/2 to start under 11 games and 13/2 over 30.

“Despite the dearth of quality midfielders available to Barcelona, it looks as though the Spanish Champions may well be able to find a way to shoehorn him into their starting line-up,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Number of Fabregas starts for Barcelona in La Liga in the 2011-12 Season*:
9/2 Under 11
3/1 11-15
5/2 16-20
10/3 21-25
5/1 26-30
13/2 Over 30

*Bets void if Fabregas does not join Barcelona during this Summer’s Transfer Window

Dubious Goal-line Decisions: They Think It’s All Over…

The debate about goal-line technology rumbles on and William Hill are offering odds on when the system will be introduced into the Premier League making the 2012/13 season the 11/10 favourite. The following season is offered at 13/8 with the season after that 4/1.

“All football fans have felt the heartache of dubious goal-line decisions and the odds suggest that the system will be introduced sooner rather than later,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

When Will Goal-Line Technology Be Introduced In The Premier League:
11/10 2012/13 Season
13/8 2013/14 Season
4/1 2014/15 Season

Argie Bargie At City: You Bet One Argentine Out And One In

With Carlos Tevez seemingly on his way out of Manchester City, William Hill have opened a market on who will come in to replace him, making Sergio Aguero their 1/2 favourite. Second favourite is Napoli playmaker Marek Hamsik at 5/1 with Samuela Eto’o, Giuseppe Rossi and Karim Benzema all offered at 6/1. Wayne Rooney is a 100/1 outsider.

“Tevez was in such sparkling form last season that he will be very hard to replace, but money is not an option for Manchester City and we fully expect them to splash the cash in order to find the best possible replacement,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Tevez’s goals were vital into propelling Manchester City into third place in the Premier League last season and Hills offer 4/7 that no player scores more than the 20 that he racked up last season. Of the players still at City, Hills make Balotelli 15/8 favourite to be the club’s leading scorer next season, although 7/4 is on offer for any player not currently there (or not a striker) to lead the scoring charts.

William Hill Manchester City Odds:

Who Will Be Manchester City’s Next Signing*: 1/2 Sergio Aguero; 5/1 Marek Hamsik; 6/1 Samuel Eto’o; 6/1 Giuseppe Rossi; 6/1 Karim Benzema; 9/1 Didier Drogba; 9/1 Pato; 10/1 Neymar; 10/1 Hulk; 12/1 Romelu Lukaku; 16/1 Falcao; 16/1 David Villa; 100/1 Wayne Rooney
*Only these players count

Manchester City Top Goalscorer: 15/8 Mario Balotelli; 9/4 Edin Dzeko; 12/1 Emmanuel Adebayor; 16/1 Jo; 20/1 Roque Santa Cruz; 7/4 Any Other

Will any player score more than Tevez’s 20 Premier League goals from last season: 5/4 yes; 4/7 no

Manchester City Finishing Position: 8/13 1st – 2nd; 11/4 3rd; 4/1 4th; 4/1 5th – 10th; 33/1 11th – 17th; 1000/1 Relegated

Exhaulted Kompany: Vincent Hot Favourite For City Armband

With the future of Carlos Tevez still to be decided, Hills are now betting on who will replace the striker as Captain of Manchester City on the first day of the upcoming season. Hills make Vincent Kompany the 1/4 red-hot favourite, while Yaya Toure is 7/2 second favourite. Garethe Barry is 9/2, Joe Hart 8/1, Lescott 10/1, David Silva 20/1 and Emmanuel Adebayor 100/1.

“Kompany has shown his leadership qualities, deputising in the absence of Tevez and Toure last season and it looks as though he will be the go-to man when City walk out at the start of next season,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Arsene Wenger has given Barcelona a two week window to make their move to sign Cesc Fabregas and William Hill have slightly cut the odds of him staying at the Emirates, at least during this transfer window, from 7/4 to 6/4.

William Hill Odds:

Manchester City Captain On The First Day Of The Season*: 1/4 Vincent Kompany; 7/2 Yaya Toure; 9/2 Gareth Barry; 8/1 Joe Hart; 10/1 Joleon Lescott; 20/1 David Silva; 100/1 Emmanuel Adebayor
