Chelsea 6/5 For Double

CHELSEA 6/5 TO DO THE DOUBLE

Chelsea are now 2/5 favourites to win the FA Cup with William Hill who make Spurs 15/8 and Portsmouth 14/1.
Hills make Chelsea 6/5 to win the Prem League-FA Cup double and 5/1 to win neither.
Martin O’Neill is 4/11 with Hills to be Villa boss on the first day of next season, 2/1 not to. ‘Villa seem to be stalling at the end of the season again and ,Martin O’Neill may believe he has aken the club as far as he can without a major injection of cash which does not see to be imminently available’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

What Price O’ Neill To Quit Villa Before Next Season ?

WILL O’NEILL STAY OR GO?
AFTER dismissing rumours that he had considered walking out on Villa, Martin O’Neill is quoted at 1/2 by William Hill still to be manager there on the first day of next season and 6/4 to have left the club by then. ‘Martin O’Neill was less than definite that he would still be Villa boss when they play their first Premier League game of next season, when questioned on the subject’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

PUNTERS FEAR FOR ARSENAL IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
William Hill have lengthened Arsenal from 7/2 to 4/1 to eliminate Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League quarter final, but Barca are 1/7 favourites to go through – and they are also 11/8 favourites to win the competition with Hills who also offer: 10/3 Inter; 4/1 Man U; 10/1 Bayern; Lyons; 14/1 Arsenal; 33/1 Bordeaux; 40/1 CSKA. ‘Not many punters seem to give Arsenal much chance of progressing any further after the injury to Fabregas’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

WHEN WILL WAYNE RETURN?

WILLIAM HILL have opened a book on when Wayne Rooney will next play for Manchester United, and make their forthcoming away game with Manchester City their 13/8 favourite, while offering 40/1 that it won’t be until their last league game, at home to Stoke and 50/1 that he will only return in the Champions League Final. ‘At the moment noone is too sure when Wayne will be back in a United shirt, but most will be hoping it will be sooner, rather than later, although non-United supporting England fans may be happy the longer a rest he gets.’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

William Hill…..When will Wayne Rooney next play some part in a game for Man Utd ?:

UNITED TITLE ODDS ON THE DRIFT

WILLIAM HILL have lengthened Manchester United’s Premier League title odds from 5/6 to 10/11 following Wayne Rooney’s injury – ‘We’ve not laid a serious bet for them to win the title since the injury’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills make Chelsea 6/4 second favourites, with Arsenal 5/1.
HILLS HAVE CUT ENGLAND FROM 6/1 TO 5/1 TO WIN THE WORLD CUP. ‘We lengthened England’s World Cup odds by a point after the injury was reported, but now that he looks likely to be fit in plenty of time for the World Cup we have taken more cash for England at 6/1, so shortened them back up to 5/1′ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe – but it certainly shows that punters believe England’s World Cup chances are directly related to Wayne’s fitness.’

Punters back O’Neill to go:
O’NEILL OFF TO ANFIELD?

WILLIAM HILL have slashed their odds for Martin O’Neill to be the next Premier League manager to leave his current job from 66/1 to 7/1. ‘We took a number of bets in branches not a million miles from Villa Park, with one punter asking for, but not getting, a £500 bet, followed by other requests for three figure bets As a cautionary move – and taking into account that Villa were beaten 7-1 last time out – we cut the odds, initially from 66/1 to 20/1 and when that didn’t stop the bets, to 7/1. At the same time we have also received enquiries for O’Neill to be the next Liverpool manager.’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

It is an 11/4 chance with Hills that all three will still be there. ‘With their chances of fourth place receding, Rafa is looking ever more vulnerable and if Liverpool are not in the Champions League Torres and Gerrard could well be looking for a way out of the club.’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

However, Hills make him 1/9 to survive into next season.

HILLS NOW MAKE MANCHESTER UNITED 10/11 CLEAR FAVOURITES FOR THE TITLE, AND ALSO OFFER 5/2 ARSENAL AND CHELSEA.

Bookies Suspend Premiership Sack Race As Zola Backed Off The Boards!

William Hill have today seen a substantial & sustained gamble on Gianfranco Zola to be the next Premiership manager to get the boot. This morning Hills were quoting 5/1 but during the course of the day they have cut the price five times before suspending at 2:35, with one London based customer looking to place a five figure bet.
