Read moreDarren Bent has provided Roy Hodgson with a boost, with the news that he could be back and playing in time for the European Championships and William Hill have cut the odds of him being called up to the squad from 4/1 to 7/2. He is 1/6 to be left at home.
Darren Bents absence has been obvious as Villa have slumped down the table without his goals, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly. England could find themselves in a similar situation without Wayne Rooney and Bents quality could be much needed.
West Ham just missed out on automatic promotion to the Premier League and they are 13/8 favourites to win the Championship playoffs at Hills who go 5/2 Birmingham; 10/3 Blackpool and 10/3 Cardiff. It could be argued that West Ham should have been promoted easily and Hills offer 14/1 that West Ham go up and Sam Allardyce leaves the club before the start of the season.

Read moreLiverpool once again lost at home and Kenny Dalglish is 8/11 with William Hill to have left Liverpool by the start of next season (Evens to still be there). Liverpool are now 9/2 to finish above Everton at the end of the season with the Blues 1/8 to top their rivals for the first time in seven years.
The wheels have fallen off the Liverpool revolution after a promising end to last season, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly. Kenny could pay for it come the summer.

Andy Carroll scored a late winner for Liverpool and William Hill have cut the odds of his boss still being in charge on the first day of next season from Evens to 5/6 (5/6 to have gone). Carroll, who at one stage looked like he could be on his way out of Liverpool is 4/7 to still be there and is also 9/2 to be in the England squad in the summer. Liverpool are 1/2 to finish above Everton in the Premier League this season, with the Blues 6/4 to do likewise.
The late Andy Carroll goal has had such an important bearing on Kenny, Carroll and the club as a whole, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.

Read moreKUYT FLYING FROM LIVERPOOL?
Dirk Kuyt could be one of a number of high profile casualties at Liverpool this summer, with William Hill offering 5/4 that he has left the club by the start of next season. Another who could be on his way is Maxi Rodriguez, who is Even money to have gone in the same time frame. The good news for Liverpool, however, is that Suarez, Gerrard and Reina all look like they will be staying, with Hills making them 1/4, 1/16 and 1/12 respectively to still be at Anfield. Kuyt is popular at Liverpool but he could be amongst the players most likely to leave the club before the start of next season said Hills spokesman Graham Share.

Dirk Kuyt 4/7 5/4
Pepe Reina 1/12 6/1
Andy Carroll 1/3 9/4

BENT INTO SHAPE?
DARREN BENT is optimistic that he can regain fitness in time to be part of the Euro squad but William Hill are less confident and offer 4/1 that he will be included in the final squad. With the current shortage of reliable English forwards, other than Rooney, Bent will have a great chance of being included if he can overcome his serious injury in time said Hills spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills – Darren Bent to be in the Euro squad? 4/1 yes; 1/7 no
LAWRIE BETTING ON LADY BOSSES
Lawrie Sanchez has claimed that he can envisage a female manager taking charge of a Premier League club within the next ten years, but Hills disagree, offering 100/1 that a female is in the Premier League within the next decade. It is 33/1 for a female manager to be in the Football League within the next 5 years. Apparently Sanmchez has bet a pal that there will be a female Premier League boss within ten years I hope he got decent odds as were prepared to offer 100/1about it happening! said Hills spokesman Graham Sharpe.
