WHO’LL BE FIRST OF BIG FIVE BOSSES TO GO?
WITH pressures facing all five of the leading Premier League bosses, William Hill have opened a book on which of them will be the first to depart his club and have installed Arsene Wenger as the 5/4 favourite, with Kenny Dalglish the 8/1 outsider. ‘For different reasons each of the bosses could find themselves leaving sooner than expected, and likewise it would be no great surprise if they were all still around in three years or more, but we feel Arsene is currently under the greatest pressure’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

WHICH OF THESE FIVE WILL BE FIRST BOSS TO LEAVE HIS POSITION?
Wenger..5/4
Villas-Boas….5/2
Mancini..7/2

WHO WILL SUCCEED ARSENE WHEN HE GOES?
WITH Arsene Wenger’s reign as Arsenal boss appearing to be under threat, William Hill have opened a book on who will succeed him, and have installed Martin O’Neill as 9/2 favourite. ‘We still believe Arsene will at least see out the season, and make him odds-on to do so, but should Arsenal’s results deteriorate badly the job could well become available very much more quickly’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

TO BE NEXT PERMANENT ARSENAL BOSS…9/2 Martin O’Neill; 6/1 Remi Garde; Jose Mlourinho; 10/1 Hiddink; 12/1 Van Basten; 14/1 Coyle; 16/1 M Laudrup; 20/1 Henry; Moyes. Others on request.

NASRI 20/1 TO SEE RED AGAINST GUNNERS

William Hill offer 11/10 Nasri will score v Arsenal this season, and 20/1 that he will be sent off against them,in any of the four major competitions.’Nasri could play against Arsenal for City on several occasions so it is probably inevitable he will score or be sent off against them’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

CHELSEA’S STRIKING CONTEST

With Chelsea’s new boss Villas-Boas bringing in new attacking options and Torres still yet to return to his prolific striking ways, William Hill have opened a book on who will top score in Premier League games for the Stamford Bridge side this season. ‘The striking positions in the Chelsea side seem to be up for grabs and any one of seven or eight players would appear to be in with a chance of being the club’s top scorer this season.’ Said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.’Torres is the obvious favourite, but he is showing few signs of recapturing his old form’

ARSENE WENGER THIRD FAVOURITE FOR CHOP

Following the takeover at QPR, William Hill have lengthened their odds about Neil Warnock being the next Premier League manager to leave his club from Even money favourite to 11/4 second favourite. ‘The takeover appears to have strengthened Warnock’s position in the short term, but many more results like their opening 0-4 home defeat would see his odds plunge again’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. Hills now make Blackburn boss, Stee Kean, their 7/4 favourite to be the next boss out but after further support for Arsene Wenger to be the next boss to go, incuding one of £200 at 9/1, he has been cut to 6/1 joint third favourite. ‘Arsene was a 33/1 shot pre-season to be the first Premier League boss to go but has been steadily backed to the point where he is now by some distance our worst potential result in this market’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
*Hills now offer 10/3 that Wenger will be gone before the end of the season, 1/5 that he is still in place.

New Boys Turned Over As Aguero Becomes Favourite For Golden Boot

Manchester City gave Swansea City a harsh lesson in efficiency winning with new boy, Sergio Aguero netting two. William Hill make him 4/1 favourite (from 12/1) to win the Premier League’s golden boot. Swansea on the other hand completed the hat trick of the promoted sides failing to win their opening games and William Hill make Swansea 13/8 to be the last of the promoted sides to register a win. Norwich are 6/4 and QPR are 7/4. Swansea are 11/10 to win their next game against Wigan and 3/1 to record their first Premier League win against Sunderland. They are 11/4 to fail to win within the next five games.

“Aguero was absolutely fantastic on his debut and looks as though he will make an immediate impact on the Premier League,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “Swansea, on the other hand, were given the runaround by Mancini’s men and will have to look to Wigan next week for improvement.”

Manchester City are 10/3 to win the Premier League, while at the other end of the table, Swansea are 8/15 favourites.

City Start Shows Promise As Aguero Slashed For Golden Boot

Manchester City showed their obvious class when upstaging Swansea on their return to the big time, to record the only home win of the opening week of the Premier League. New boy Sergio Aguero, scored two and set up one on his City debut and William Hill are offering 4/1 that he bags the golden boot during his first season in Premier League football. Manchester City are 10/3 to win the Premier League this season but are still behind Manchester United and Chelsea at 6/5 and 3/1 respectively. Hills offer 10/3 about a United/City 1-2, while a City/United forecast is 11/2.

“After just one game, the league is looking ominous for teams around the country as the North West occupy the top three,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “Realistically, there will only be two of those sides there at the end of the season but on the weekend’s form, the Manchester sides will take some shifting from their lofty perch.”

Despite performing well in the first half, Swansea faded in the second and succumbed to a big defeat and they are Hill’s favourites, at 8/15 to be relegated. Swansea are 13/8 to be the last of the promoted sides to register a Premier League win. Norwich are 6/4 and QPR are 7/4. All three promoted sides are 4/1 to be relegated. Swansea are 11/10 to win their next game against Wigan and 3/1 to record their first Premier League win against Sunderland. They are 11/4 to fail to win within the next five games.

PUNTERS’ PICKS FOR TITLE/RELEGATION……..ARSENE’S FUTURE

PUNTERS TIP LIVERPOOL FOR THE TITLE – BLACKBURN , NEWCASTLE AND VILLA FOR DROP

WILLIAM HILL have analysed bets struck on the Premier League title and relegation races so far, and discovered that Liverpool have accounted for almost 40% of bets struck so far on the title, and Blackburn Rovers have attracted the greatest percentage of relegation bets taken thus far – 20.43%.
‘The two lists – derived from bets struck online, although they are closely mirrored by our shop bets- show an intriguing and striking convergence from the betting odds – Liverpool are only 10/1 fifth favourites for the title in our outright odds, while Blackburn are 3/1 sixth favourites for the drop – Villa, third best backed to go down, are actually joint seventh favourites to win the title, while Norwich, 7th best backed for the title are second favourites to be relegated!’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
‘It will be fascinating to look back with hindsight, and see whether the bookies or the punters have got it right.’

ARSENE WENGER has been cut from 33/1 to 10/1 joint fourth favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his club as he appeared to be facing the loss of both Fabregas and Nasri from his squad. Hills make him 1/6 to see out of the season, 7/2 not to. ‘Should the Gunners get off to a slow start pressure will mount inexorably on Arsene Wenger, in which circumstances it is not impossible to envisage an end to his reign at Arsenal.’ Said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Premier League Looks Set To Strike It Lucky

With a host of top quality strikers set to be plying their trade in the Premier League next season, William Hill think that the 2011/12 could be yet another record breaking season, offering 4/5 that last season’s total of 1063 goals is broken this year. With a number of the ‘top six’ sides recruiting heavily over the summer break, Hills are offering 5/6 that the top six score more than the 334 that they mustered last season.

Manchester United lead the scoring charts last season and 9/4 is offered for them to do so once again, while Chelsea are the 11/4 second favourites. Hills also offer 7/4 that over 30 goals are scored on the opening weekend of the season.

“Last season was a record breaker with more goals scored than any previous year in Premier League history and with a number of top strikers set to line up for their sides this season, the goals look set to flow,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Despite suffering a somewhat rocky start to his Chelsea career, Hills are backing Fernando Torres to do the business this season and make him the 13/8 favourite to be Chelsea’s top marksman this season. Didier Drogba is offered at 11/4 and Frank Lampard is 9/2.

Aguero Vs Torres: Let The Goals Begin!

Sergio Aguero could be a great signing for Manchester City and Hills offer 7/4 that he will score more than sixteen Premiership goals in the season, but 5/4 eleven or less.
