William Hill punters seem to agree with Andre Villas-Boas claims that Fernando Torres will be staying put for the time being, with considerable bets having been staked on him still being at Chelsea on the 1st February. Initially offered at 4/11, the weight of money coupled with Villas-Boas strong stance on Torres future, has seen this price slashed to 1/5. The majority of the money has come from Northern Ireland and Oxfordshire.
Torres has endured a difficult first year at Chelsea but it appears that punters support matches that of his manager and it seems he will be given time to turn things around, said Hills spokesman Joe Crilly.

Chelsea and Arsenals leaky defences will be put to the test when they face Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund respectively. Chelsea are 7/5 slight favourites to concede more goals than Arsenal, whose porous defence is 13/8 to ship more than the Blues. David Beckham is now almost out of contract at Los Angeles and William Hill make PSG his most likely destination at 10/11. Beckham has not ruled out staying at Los Angeles and Hills offer 4/1 that he stays at the Galaxy. QPR have seemingly given up in the race to sign David Beckham and William Hill have eased their odds to 8/1 (from 6/1). Paris Saint Germain are the 4/9 favourites to secure Beckhams signature, while Tottenham are the 5/1 second favourites. Beckham is 4/7 to join up with the GB squad for the 2012 Olympics and Hills make Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey 1/8 and 1/5 respectively to feature in the Olympic squad.
