BENITEZ BACKED AGAIN TO BE FIRST PREM BOSS OUT
AFTER LIVERPOOL’s second Premiership defeat of the season, William Hill have cut their odds for Rafa Benitez to be the first boss of the Premiership season to leave his club from 9/2 to 5/2 second favourite. ‘There was speculation at the weekend that Rafa may not have a long term future at Anfield, and punting interest in him to be the first boss of the season to go has been feverish after the Villa defeat’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. Hills make him 6/4 to be out by the end of the season, 1/ 2 still to be with the club when they kick off their final match.
FOLLOWING THEIR defeat by Villa, their second of the season, Liverpool are now 13/2 fourth favourites with William Hill to win the Premiership title, and Hills have opened a book on where they will finish, quoting them at 5/1 runners-up; 7/2 3rd; 11/4 4th; 13/8 5th or lower.
‘Although it is only early days, Liverpool have already lost as many times as they did all last season, so they have it all to do if they are to remain serious title contenders’; said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Chelsea are Hill’s title favourites at 11/8, with Manchester United 9/4 ; Arsenal 9/2; Liverpool 13/2; Man City 10/1; Spurs 25/1.; Villa 175/1.

Sol 7/2 To Become County Boss

SOL 7/2 TO BECOME COUNTY BOSS
WITH Sol Campbell declaring his wish to become a manager, William Hill are quoting odds of 7/2 that he will (1/6 that he won’t) take over in that role at new club Notts County by the end of the season; 7/4 that he will (2/5 that he won’t) be manager/player manager of any Premiership/Football League club before the end of NEXT season; and 10/1 that he is manager of a Premiership club before the end of the season after that, 2011/12.
‘Sol is one of the most respected players in the game and must have every chance of becoming a manager if that’s his ambition – working alongside Sven can only improve his potential managerial cv and no one -except, perhaps Ian McParland – will be too surprised if he becomes boss at Notts County’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills are also offering a series of other odds about Sol’s first season at County – offering 8/1 for him to score on his debut; 33/1 to be sent off during his debut; 9/2 to be sent off at any stage this season; and 5/6 to score 3 or more goals in League Two this season, 5/6 2 or less.

Chelsea 20/1 To Stay Unbeaten All Season

CHELSEA 20/1 TO STAY UNBEATEN IN PREM

CHELSEA are now 6/4 favourites to win the Premiership title and 20/1 to remain undefeated all season in the league with William Hill who make Manchester United 3/1 second favourites for the title and also offer; 9/2 Liverpool; 5/1 Arsenal; 10/1 Manchester City; 25/1 Spurs; 250/1 Villa; 400/1 Everton.
**HILLS make Arsenal 33/1 to stay undefeated all season in the Premiership with Man City 40/1 and Spurs 50/1.

DESPITE beating Man U and Everton, Burnley are still odds on for relegation with William Hill who make them 4/6 to go down and 11/10 to stay up. ‘The jury is still out, but they have started as though they mean to be this season’s Hull or Reading, and 11/10 to stay up could turn out to be excellent value.’
Hills make Hull 4/6 to go down (11/10 stay up) with Portsmouth 8/11 (evens stay up); 5/4 Birminghaml 15/8 Wolves; 4/1 Wigan; 9/2 Bolton, and Stoke; 6/1 Blackburn.

FOLLOWING Manchester United’s shock defeat by Burnley, William Hill are offering odds of 9/2 that Sir Alex Ferguson will cease to be United boss before the end of the season – but make him 1/8 still to be in place. ‘Even Sir Alex will have to quit some time and if United continue losing to relegation favourites like Burnley that could be sooner rather than later’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Hills have now pushed United’s title odds out from 9/4 to 10/3 second favourites, while Chelsea are now 6/4 favourites with Hills who make Liverpool 4/1, Arsenal 11/2, Man City 10/1 and Spurs 40/1.
HILLS NOW OFFER CITY AT 5/2 TO FINISH ABOVE UNITED WHO ARE 2/7 TO DO VICE VERSA.
***Newcastle are now 5/1 jt second favs with Middlesbro to win the Championship with William Hill who make West Brom 9/2 favourites.

Benitez Backed To Be First Boss To Go.

RAFA BENITEZ has been the subject of a gamble concentrated in the Kent and Bristol areas to be the first Premiership manager to leave his club this season, with William Hill slashing his odds from 20/1 to 11/2 third favourite.
‘We have seen a string of punters asking for bets of up to £300 a time for Benitez to be the first boss to go’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe, ‘I’m not sure whether Rafa has friends or family in Bristol and, or, Kent, but you can’t take chances in markets like this. We have cut his odds several times but are still seeing interest even at 11/2’.
HILLS CURRENTLY OFFER 2/5 THAT BENITEZ WILL STILL BE LIVERPOOL BOSS ON THE LAST DAY OF THE SEASON, 7/4 THAT HE WILL NOT.
William Hill: First Prem boss to go: 11/4 Phil Brown; 9/2 Paul Hart; 11/2 Benitez; 6/1 McLeish; 15/2 Zola; 8 Hughes; 12 Megson; 20 Martinez.

Who’ll Go First – Moyes Or O’ Neill ?

WHO’LL GO FIRST – MOYES OR O’NEILL?

WITH both of their sides making a disappointing start to the new season, William Hill have slashed the odds about David Moyes and Mart O’Neill being the first manager of the season to leave his club – and opened a book on which of the two will go first this season.
Hills make Moyes 7/1 to go first this season; O’Neill 8/1 but offer 1/7 that both will still be in place when the final Premiership game of the season kicks off.
Hills make Villa 8/11 by Hills to finish higher than Everton, who are Even money to do vice versa.
MOYES has been cut from 40/1 to 16/1 by Hills to be the first manager to go this season, with O’Neill down from 33/1 to 20/1. ‘Both are amongst the best regarded managers in the Premiership but their opening results have suggested that they might both struggle to equal or improve upon what their sides managed to do last season, and that could prompt a sacking or resignation’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
HILLS: FIRST PREMIERSHIP MANAGER TO PART COMPANY WITH CLUB: 7/2 Hart; 5/1 Brown; McLeish; 8/1 Hughes; 10/1 Megson; 16/1 McCarthy; Moyes; 20/1 O’Neill; 25 Benitez; Hodgson; Martinez.
