Manchester Set To Bag The Goals On Retaliation Sunday

In a Sunday that is being billed as retaliation Sunday, William Hill think that Hat-tricks are the order of the day. With Dzeko and Rooney both scoring hat-tricks in the previous fixtures between these sides Hills offer 7/1 that a player bags at least three in one of the games. It is looking like it may be a Manchester dominated day with Hills offering 4/6 that Manchester score more than North London.

“We think that Manchester will win the day, but North London will have something to say about it after the results last time,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

You Bet Scotland Won’t Be Paying The Penalty Against Lithuania

Scotland suffered last minute heartbreak against Czech Republic at Hampden Park on Saturday and all eyes will turn to the referee against Lithuania this week. Hills are offering 10/3 that there is a penalty awarded in the match (1/5 there is not one awarded). Scotland are 50/1 to qualify for Euro 2012 but the odds indicate that there is no reason why they should not win, offered at 8/13 to win with their visitors 5/1. The draw is offered at 13/5.

“Scotland should be able to see off Lithuania in their latest Euro 2012 qualifier and the odds suggest that they should do so with relative ease,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “Unfortunately whether they qualify is now out of their own hands and it appears that they have only the slimmest chance of doing so.”

The last time that these two sides met a goalless draw was played out and Hills go 15/2 about this happening again.

William Hill Sunday Soccer Specials

Sunday’s big match sees Liverpool take on Spurs at White Hart Lane and the fortunes of the teams two managers could not be any different. At the start of the season, both were being talked up as prospective England managers yet William Hill believe that Harry is safer than Woy and Hodgson is 2/5 to have left his job before Redknapp.

Two of the players who were key to Holland’s march to the World Cup final come face to face on Sunday and Hills are offering an 8/1 Double Dutch Bet – that Van der Vaart and Dirk Kuyt both score. Hills are offering 7/2 that former red Peter Crouch scores and Tottenham win by one goal.

Tottenham took Liverpool’s spot in the Champion’s league last season and Hills are offering 8/13 that Spurs finish above the Reds again this season.

Sunday also sees Chelsea take on Newcastle and the Blues are 8/11 to record a victory. Chelsea’s recent run has not been brilliant and they are 8/1 to fail to win any of their next three games. Chelsea are 10/3 to fail to score once more.

Andy Carroll is England’s new golden boy and he is 9/2 to beat Alan Shearer’s Newcastle goalscoring record of 206.

How Much Injury Time And Will Owen Score During It ?

**********************************************WILLIAM HILL CARLING CUP WEDNESDAY NIGHT SPECIALS******************************************************

How much ‘injury’ time will be played at Old Trafford?:
OWEN 25/1 TO STRIKE IN ADDED TIME AGAIN
WILLIAM HILL offer just 8/15 that the Manchester United – Wolves Carling Cup game will produce three or more goals in 90 minutes play, quoting that eventuality at 8/15, and offer 16/5 that there will be two, and 16/5 one or nil. With Michael Owen hitting the vital late winner in ‘injury time’ on Sunday, William Hill offer 25/1 that he will again be on target in added time after 90 minutes play – stakes refunded if he isn’t on the pitch at that time. Hills make Owen, who is expected to start the game, 4/5 to score if he does; 10/3 to get the first goal of the game; 11/2 to score twice or more; 20/1 to hit hat trick or more. ‘This game may well offer Michael Owen the opportunity of proving that he deserves to be starting matches for United if he can add to his impact on the derby match with a significant performance here’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
AND WITH the furore about the time added on in Sunday’s Manchester derby, Hills are betting on how much ‘added’ time will be PLAYED once the 90 minutes have finished, and offer 9/2 that it will be less than two minutes; 11/8 that it is three minutes and one second or more: ‘Once added time begins all eyes will be on the ref to see how much over the indicated minimum time he may play’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

BENITEZ BACKED AGAIN TO BE FIRST PREM BOSS OUT
AFTER LIVERPOOL’s second Premiership defeat of the season, William Hill have cut their odds for Rafa Benitez to be the first boss of the Premiership season to leave his club from 9/2 to 5/2 second favourite. ‘There was speculation at the weekend that Rafa may not have a long term future at Anfield, and punting interest in him to be the first boss of the season to go has been feverish after the Villa defeat’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. Hills make him 6/4 to be out by the end of the season, 1/ 2 still to be with the club when they kick off their final match.
FOLLOWING THEIR defeat by Villa, their second of the season, Liverpool are now 13/2 fourth favourites with William Hill to win the Premiership title, and Hills have opened a book on where they will finish, quoting them at 5/1 runners-up; 7/2 3rd; 11/4 4th; 13/8 5th or lower.
‘Although it is only early days, Liverpool have already lost as many times as they did all last season, so they have it all to do if they are to remain serious title contenders’; said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.
Chelsea are Hill’s title favourites at 11/8, with Manchester United 9/4 ; Arsenal 9/2; Liverpool 13/2; Man City 10/1; Spurs 25/1.; Villa 175/1.
