Bolton Boost Survival Hopes As Arsenal In Driving Position For London Bragging Rights

It was a busy day at the bottom of the Premier League table as both Bolton and Wigan pulled off victories. Despite their shock victory at Anfield, William Hill make Wigan 1/4 to be relegated come the end of the season, the same price as QPR. Another defeat for Terry Connor left Wolves adrift at the foot of the table and 1/7 with Hills for the drop. Bolton’s victory moved them up into 17th and they are 11/8 to go down with Blackburn 9/4. Hills think that the current bottom three are doomed, offering 10/11 that they are the three who are relegated. Liverpool’s home defeat to Wigan and their second consecutive defeat to bottom three opposition has left Kenny Dalglish 5/2 to no longer be in charge of Liverpool come the start of next season (2/7 to still be there).

“The victories for Wigan and Bolton have certainly condensed things at the bottom of the table and while there are only a couple of points separating Wolves and Blackburn, we think Terry Connor’s men are teetering on the brink and they may just rag QPR and Wigan with them,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Arsenal’s comfortable victory left them in pole position to grab third spot in the Premier League and William Hill make them 4/7 to finish as the top London club. Spurs are currently suffering a dismal run of form and they are 6/4 while Chelsea are 10/1.

United 16/1 To Win All Their Remaining Matches…how Many Points Will 17th Get?

Manchester United moved four points clear of Manchester City and William Hill make them 4/9 to retain the Premier League title with City 13/8 to win it for the first time. At the other end of the table, another heavy defeat for Wolves saw them slip to the bottom of the table and Hills think that the writing could be on the wall for Terry Connor’s men, offering 1/6 that they are relegated.

Alex Ferguson has claimed that his side need to win all of their remaining games if they are to win their 20th title and William Hill make them 16/1 to do so.

“There is no doubting that Manchester City will push their rivals all the way, but United now have the upper hand and if they win their remaining matches, will win the league,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Wolves have really struggled since dispensing of Mick McCarthy and Hills are offering 5/6 that Terry Connor is still in charge on the final day of the season (5/6 that he is not). It is not thought that the 40 point mark will be necessary for the team finishing in 17th place and Hills make 31 points or less their 21/10 favourite with 32 or 33 5/2.

Chelsea won their fourth consecutive match with Roberto Di Matteo in charge and William Hill make them 4/1 to avoid defeat in their next five matches, although they are 5/6 to lose next weekend against Manchester City.

Premier League Outright: 4/9 Manchester United; 13/8 Manchester City; 250/1 Arsenal; 250/1 Tottenham; 500/1 Chelsea

Premier League Relegation: 1/6 Wolves; 1/4 Wigan; 2/5 QPR; 5/4 Bolton; 2/1 Blackburn; 33/1 BAR

Premier League To Stay Up: 4/11 Blackburn; 4/7 Bolton; 7/4 QPR; 11/4 Wigan; 7/2 Wolves

Will Terry Connor be in charge of Wolves on the final day of the season: 5/6 yes; 5/6 no

How many points will 17th position get: 11/2 38 or more; 7/2 36 or 37; 11/4 34 or 35; 5/2 32 or 33; 21/10 31 or less

16/1 Manchester United to win all of their remaining games of 2011/12 season

Can’t Play/won’t Play: Torres And Tevez Latest…rvp 11/4 To Break Prem Goals Record

Fernando Torres failed to find the net against Birmingham, despite playing for the whole game and William Hill are now offering 2/1 that he fails to score for Chelsea in the Premier League for the rest of this season (4/11 that he bags at least one). Saying this however, he is Even money to grab his first goal of 2012 against Stoke this weekend. Roberto Di Matteo made it one in one and Hills are now betting on when Chelsea will lose their first match under the Italian. Hills reckon the most likely match for them to suffer their first defeat under Di Matteo is the Manchester City match on the 19th March (5/4,) although they are 7/1 to lose against Stoke this weekend.

Carlos Tevez returned to the goals when he netted against Bolton in the reserves and William Hill are offering 1/3 that he appears in the Premier League again this season. He is 5/4 to score more 2012 goals in the Premier League than Fernando Torres (4/7 vice versa).

Manchesters City and United are playing in the Europa League on Thursday and William Hill are offering 9/1 that the two sides meet in the final. United are Even money to score more goals at home against Athletic Bilbao (City are 17/10 to get more against Sporting Lisbon, with a tie 3/1).

Robin van Persie is just nine goals away from breaking the most goals in a season record of 34 and William Hill are offering 11/4 that he reaches 35 this season. He is 5/2 to equal the record and 14/1 to fail to score another goal all season.

“In a season that has seen big money players fail to find the net and refuse to even play, Robin van Persie has wowed the public and fired the goals that have kept Arsenal in contention for a top four spot and it is not out of the question that he will break Andy Cole and Alan Shearer’s record,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

When will Torres next score: 1/1 Stoke; 3/1 Napoli; 4/1 Leicester; 14/1 Manchester City; 11/1 Tottenham; 11/1 Aston Villa; 9/4 none of these games
*must start vs Stoke on 10th March or bets void **matches must be played on named dates or bets void

The Scottish Premier League generally kicks off earlier than the other European leagues and is 13/8 favourite with the English Premier League 11/4 second favourite.
