England are the Even money favourites to host the 2018 World Cup with William Hill. The FIFA delegation arrived in England on Monday, and Sepp Blatter has confirmed that he is impressed with the initial bid. The main contenders set to prevent England from winning the bidding seem to be Russia who are priced at 7/4 with Spain and Portugal’s joint bid offered at 9/2.

“After a miserable summer, England fans have finally got a reason to cheer, with the odds suggesting that football could well and truly be coming home in 2018,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly
