With the SPL kicking off early this season, bookmakers, William Hill, have seen an early spike in turnover and are confident that this will be the biggest betting weekend in SPL history with an industry figure of £5 million plus. To celebrate being the official betting partner of the SPL for another season, Hills are offering the top price on all the favourites for the opening round of fixtures.

“Football fans have been bereft of any football this summer and to celebrate the early return we have enhanced the prices of all our favourites this weekend,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly. “We fully expect records to tumble and are all but certain that we are in for our biggest ever SPL weekend!”
