Carroll Odds On For First Time To Leave Liverpool

Liverpool have been fielding bids for Andy Carroll from all over the UK as it was revealed that Newcastle had joined Fulham and West Ham in the race for the striker and William Hill make the Magpies 7/4 favourites to be Carroll’s next club. West Ham and Fulham are 11/4 and 6/1 respectively. After initially making clear their wish to sign him, news reports linking AC Milan with a move for Carroll have died down and they are now offered at 10/1 to be his next club.

“Carroll certainly has a long list of suitors but with Liverpool reportedly only willing to get rid of him permanently, it remains to be seen as to whether any side can afford him,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

William Hill think an exit for the Liverpool targetman is ever more likely, with Hills making him 5/6 to have left the club by the start of the season.

Andy Carroll next club: 7/4 Newcastle; 11/4 West Ham; 6/1 Fulham; 6/1 Aston Villa; 10/1 AC Milan; 16/1 Malaga; 20/1 PSG; 20/1 Arsenal; 20/1 Tottenham; 25/1 Chelsea; 25/1 Reading; 25/1 Ajax; 25/1 Stoke; 25/1 Norwich; 25/1 Manchester City; 25/1 Manchester United; 33/1 Bayern Munich; 40/1 Inter Milan; 40/1 Everton; 40/1 Sunderland; 66/1Real Madrid; 66/1 Barcelona…others on request

Van Persie 2/1 To Still Be At Arsenal At End Of Transfer Window

Arsenal remain hopeful that Robin van Persie will remain at Arsenal, but tellingly, William Hill make the Gunners captain a shorter price to be at Manchester City at the close of the transfer window tan he is to be at Arsenal. He is 6/4 to join the Premier League champions and is 2/1 to stay put.

During the week, Sir Alex Ferguson suggested that he would be interested in signing the want away striker and Manchester United are 3/1 to win the race to sign him.

“Arsenal are hoping that van Persie does a ‘Rooney’ and stays at Arsenal, but with so many suitors and just a year left on his contract, it looks likely, he will be on the move,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Oh Dear Ac: Ibra Out, Carroll In…

The rumours that Andy Carroll could be on his way from Liverpool refuse to die down and William Hill make him 11/4 to have left the club by the time the transfer window shuts, whether on loan or permanently (1/4 to still be at Liverpool). AC Milan and West Ham lead the race for his signature with both sides 11/4 to be his next club, with Newcastle 8/1 and PSG and Malaga 14/1.

“Andy Carroll has struggled since his move to Liverpool and a year on loan may give him the playing time that he requires to continue his development,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Rumours in Italy are suggesting that there are a couple of teams sniffing around AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic and William Hill make oil-rich PSG the 11/10 favourites to be his next club with Chelsea 6/1 and Manchester City 8/1.

Former favourite for the England manager’s job Harry Redknapp is on the short list released by the Russian FA to become the new national coach after Dick Advocaat left for PSV. The former Spurs boss is 12/1 to make the shock move.

DIRECT ELECTIONS TO HOUSE OF LORDS? BET ON IT

With controversy surrounding the future of the House of Lords, William Hill have opened a book on whether there will be direct Elections to the House of Lords before the year 2016 – and offer 7/4 that there will, 2/5 that there will not. ‘We think it is unlikely that direct Elections to the House of Lords will be taking place any time soon’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe.

Ac Milan Fans 6/1 To Be Carroll Singing Next Season

Andy Carroll’s name has rather surprisingly been linked with a loan move to AC Milan although William Hill do not think that particular move is on the cards, offering 1/12 that he does not make the move to the San Siro (to AC Milan). It does look likely that Carroll could make a move away from Anfield, whether on loan or permanently, with Hills offering 4/1 that he is not at Liverpool when the transfer window slams shut.

“Aquilani spent last season at AC Milan and despite the relations that may or may not have been built between the clubs because of that particular deal, we do not think a move for Andy Carroll is very likely,” said Hill’s spokesman Joe Crilly.

Rumours suggesting that Roberto Mancini could be on his way from Manchester City may not be too wide of the mark, with William Hill making the Italian 11/2 to have left Eastlands by the time the season starts and Hills can also report that Mancini has been backed in from 33/1 to 4/1 favourite to be the first Premier League manager to leave his position.
